There's something about this song and this mv. Something that I haven't seen in awhile. Tenderness, sincerity, depth, simplicity, warmth. Makes me feel safe (even with the sad lyrics). Like we're not alone in feeling this way at some point in our lives. Hats off to the whole team who made this all happen. This is the kind of art I hope to see more of.

i genuinely love this song so much from the bottom of my heart. i cant describe how much peace it brings to me.
the scene where he pays attention to the hate comments instead of enjoying being with her and then missing her, is so relatable. I mean, i haven't been bullied by thousands of people but i have been hurt by people and focused on it too much instead of looking for comfort with my loved ones
It's also so sad when you know people who care about you know that people are hurting you. This is also portrayed in crisis, "my mom called cause she heard i got death threats, oh wth am i supposed to do with that?"
It hits deep cause I was there ever since they were seen hanging out together (Sabrina and Joshua). And Twitter was filled with so much toxicity and hate. I felt so horrible just reading it.. I can't imagine what they both were going through.
People don't realize how much they both went through. They only care about one side. The messages they received were truly disturbing and horrible.

@@Just.A.T-Rex a lot of this video was Josh’s idea specifically the bathtub scene, the nail polish colors, the drinking and smoking and making pancakes. Also ciara (the girl) made all the clothes she’s wearing. Josh was working with Elle to direct the video but he was also working with the producers etc. they talked about it on twitch one night. Elle and the other girl I forgot what she did. Also the creative director of the video is Sarah carpenter aka Sabrina’s sister but also she and josh have been the creative directors of almost all his videos besides like 2.
This was such peaceful and just a way to relax. There is so much chemistry between them. His acting and singing are very intelligent.

This song is just so heart-wrenching. The parts where they’re both in that dark room, with the piano, and it’s only them together that has lighting, really shows how they felt about one another. They were both going through such a hard time, and they were each others light. They helped pick each other up, but it was the darkness of it all and the “rain” as we see in the last few seconds of the video that made them feel like that had to separate.

Like In Sbrina's "Skinny Dipping", she mentioned a coffee shop which is also mentioned in this song so they perhaps went to coffee shops (or perhaps the one here Josh says is their favorite) often. And in Joshua's song "Feel Something", he mentioned skinny dipping which is the title of the song Sabrina recently released. Joshua all I want to say is thank you for this song, a coffee shop was also where I was at when I realized that I wasn’t completely over someone. I know it was just a crush and nothing more compared to you actually being in a relationship. But that was the exact face I had when I saw him with someone else complete, shock, fear, and sadness all at once so thank you for this song.
