Made a D. Rose build last month. 80 lay, 93 dunk, 89 middy, 70 3pt, 63 pass Acc, 93 handle, 90 swb, 50 interior, 75 perimeter, 86 speed 83 Acc, 54 strength, 85 vert. Them small contact dunks and side clutches off one hit different. Mid range game keep em off balance and can easily hit the 3 on catch and shoot.

I’m not sure why you are even putting so much free-throw, you can make that build so much better just lower the free-throw smh 🤦♂️
An underrated thing about this build is its weight.
Since it’s lighter, the strength isn’t forced up along with the dunk. Allows you to put more on other stuff
Yea went up like 1 pound to get 45 strength and that was it
Only thing, I don’t know if it’s strength or weight or just high interior, but I’ve seen too many times dudes get thrown out of their contact dunk animations. Outside of stamina, if you’re not maxing speed really no other reason to go lowest weight.
The strength isn't forced up because of the height, not the weight
@@DenisGjona nah it’s the weight. If he makes this same build 200 lbs then the strength is at 48 to accommodate the driving dunk.

If u went 6’3, u can make it 94 dunk 92 3pt and same playmaking just no defense. Honestly better for my playstyle cuz on this height any defense attributes kinda worthless
But still I believe 6’6 the meta for 5 out offense
How is the defense worthless on a 6’2? He clearly has the defense upgraded. The thing is most pg’s go heavy offense but little to no difference. This build will get stops for sure inside & out any game mode. Not consistently in the paint but you can for sure get some stops
Best feeling in the builder is when you can raise a secondary badge to a decent level with minimal available attribute points. Iykyk

Couldnt the inverse of 94 3pt to 87-90 dunk work the same way?
I get the “so quick on the slash every 3 finna be open” if u that quick anyways a higher 3ball couldn’t hurt lol. I’ve seen some demon short guards cut up teams with this exact type build. Damn near impossible to guard
I think it can. It's the contact dunks and dunk packages that are the difference. 87, 90 dunk with 94 3pt played well will work for sure. Just don't expect a dunk animation to pop off every time so would need fearless finisher and decent layup or at least bail out badge if smart passer.
Elite build I just made a drose build like this just 6’3 with 91 pass acc and 92 3pt
You should definitely try to re-create your 6’9 sf build from 2k20. The beast that can guard the 1-5 and dunk on centers lol
6’9s can’t hang wit 5s anymore and it’s too slow to guard a good 1
Just a general question…do you always want to be the playmaker on the team? You seem like a good big man but seem to be always gravitating towards to making sure your build dictates how your squad plays

I have a build similar to this except I made it 6’3, max weight max wing to get max block and rebounding I went with a 94 dunk and 82 vert instead, the only hit I took was with my perimeter defense being only a 58 but I can vouch for getting jump contest on the perimeter because of my block rating

*Note: You can lower the 61 standing dunk and drop the 54 post control and put those points to something else, the reason I did this was to get a higher offensive consistency*
Was gonna make the mvp year westbrook build with my saved up 140k glad i held on. The stats on this I better in most areas by dropping some weight and height. I'll wait for gameplay then test it myself.

laker i literally made a similar one as this yesterday. 6'1 u can get ur hof slither 94 dunk still get 90 mid with 86 3 ball u do miss out on kyrie dribble style but good enough to run pg too. 84 pass low perimeter so u have to play in the corner but got interior block and rebounds
What rating did you go with for Pass accuracy, Ball handle, and Speed with ball?
@@Coreyinthehouse i went with 84 pass similar to what joeknows did. 92 ball handle and 83 speed with ball. theres still good dribble moves that u can use if u know how to L2 cancel. i did get 90 mid range tho so deadeye and blinders both go to gold.
@@Coreyinthehouse high middy cuz i left options open for iso situation just incase u get locked up going to paint u can keep defenders guessing shooting middy. then randomly just go for meter dunks
Am I crazy or does this build guy not look that small… (9:20) He’s obviously shorter, but I thought the difference would be way more
Dude please don’t drop this build after 5 days. I want to see continuous content of you learning how to dribble and shoot on a smaller build. We want to see you improve even if it’s tough in the beginning.
slithery is really good for layups not so much for dunks. slithery hof 97 layup is dumb dirty
I only have 2 builds this year and both of them have 86 3pt and 72 Middy, so I'm glad to see you went the same route for this build. I see a lot of builds with middy in the 80s and 90s when 72 is good enough for every type of shot. You also get Middy Magician on Silver; my thought process is that if you get a certain badge on Silver+, your build is perfectly capable of doing whatever attribute that badge applies to.
I wanted 85 3pt for the JR Smith base but I went 1 extra since it gave Agent 3 on Silver. Why not, right?
I’ve been going 87/72 on my builds, I love the 6’8s with tmac base. I do notice I don’t hit my middy fades consistently tho..but I don’t pull them often either. So my middy mag is on bronze. Glad to see this comment, gonna use my silver cap lock thing on middy mag when I get it this season..hoping I dont have to remake my 6’8 again to get gold mid mag. I have all my hotspots, and I hit stepback & catch and shoot middys all day..never been good at the fades tbh, but I’m trying to learn this season
@mikelenhart4713 - Yeah, I've been messing around with different dribble pull-ups. My Top 3 personal favs are Kobe, Pro 2, and DeMar DeRozan. I feel like I hit pretty consistently, but I didn't put Post Control on my 1st build for the Post Fade Phenom. You don't need it for open post fades with a 72 Middy, but Bronze gives a huge boost and is definitely worth it. Gave my newest build an 84 Post Control and I'm super excited to shoot some more post fades with the 72 Middy + Silver Post Fade Phenom
@@DonDeLem right on..idk man, I played around with post cont a lot early in the game, and I just don’t use it. I had hof post fade phenom on one build, played my 3-4 mycareer games, hit every post fade..got in the theatre and couldn’t hit a single one. Hated it, I know it’s me..but it still really pissed me off. Anyway, yeah I like the Kobe fade..but then on my big I really like the basic fade. Was thinking ab trying it on my 6’8 over Kobe..seems sac relig..I know, but it’s really simple and easy to time. Maybe I can get better on basic, then move to more advanced pull ups once I get them down idk. I’m also a drive and kick play style, and I score or assist very effectively..but sometimes you just need that one dribble, pull up middy when you’re desperate..and it’s a glaring hole in my bag. Once I get it down tho, I’ll prob just get bored and find something else to do lmao. Not really, but I already created a cpl goofy builds recently out of boredom. Only prob is they’re like $150 and if they aren’t what I’m looking for they’re trash lol
@@mikelenhart4713 - Kobe's a good post fade but I prefer Jayson Tatum simply because of the shimmy fades. Very clean visual cue imo

The point about block is one I wish I thought of. But ngl i got 6’8+ builds with good defense and I actually prefer to play defense as a quicker smaller guard in the rec considering a lot of it just closing space and making people feel uncomfortable. It’s almost like speed is less important than height when it comes to that, the little guys just move so much smoother even with the same speed
Crazy cause i feel the exact opposite bigger builds are easier to move and dribble with to me
Learning how to be a good dribbler is the hardest thing in 2k

I noticed early on that it’s the driving dunk that’s the most budget friendly at 6’2. Makes for an interesting small guard. Wish I was ss3 for that jumper. Not sure it works without that. Cool build. Look forward to the vids. Another nugget is that the Kyrie template is actually a pretty sweet offensive small guard. Getting his dribble style without paying for the normal stat requirements is interesting. Can’t defend a damn thing, though. Soooo hard to get a stop.
Maybe save the VC until make starter 3 😂

Been saving my vc for a 94 contact, 92 3pt, 95 ball handle, 90 swb pg. But if the small contact is worth it, i may drop to 93 driving for the 85 vert
This ain’t it you need a midrange. Haven’t you learned from your boy Tonic? Lol. This build is terrible without a midrange. Without a midrange you’re still going to get baited and dared to shoot
