getting this error when trying to load "\EFI\ubuntu\grubx64.efi" from windows bootloader menu (bcdedit). So quite interested what that error exactly is. MS says "incompatible file" ... well .... what is exactly wrong with it?

This usually happens because of Uefi mode. It causes problems with Ubuntu if you have dual boot. U can try legacy mode instead of uefi.

@@VideoGuideWorks nice when loading GRUB first from partition then loading winloader from grub. It is all GPT/EFI. And it is a lot fast anyway this way because it takes ages until the windows selection menu is up.
