Yammie Noob Vs Spite: Why Yam Wasn't So Bad

  • Yammie Noob firing Spite quite the controversy in the motovlog world. Despite Yammie Noob receiving backlash for the way he handled Spite's departure, I'd like to point out that Spite actually received a great opportunity to learn from one of the best in the industry and has since gained a significant following.
The video also addresses the impact of the controversy on Yammie Noob's channel, which has experienced a decrease in views and unsubscribers. It highlights the seasonal nature of motorcycle content, to help explain that only some, not all, of this is attributable to Spite being fired.
I encourage viewers to consider the full context before making judgments, and then please let me know what you think: Did Spite get a bad deal, or was he actually very lucky?
Additionally, if you want to learn more about motovlog trends and how much money motorcycle channels make on RUclips. I have other videos on this topic you can check out.

Fair video! Also, your editing and quality has gone up since I last saw you 👍🏻 here's some additional context:
    1) Spite and I agreed (in writing) from the very beginning that if he was to ever leave the channel, we needed to make a video together explaining why he was leaving. The exit interview idea went HORRIBLY! And in hindsight, I truly regret that. We also weren't 100% truthful in the video, and there's always more behind the scenes. Ultimately, we weren't going to work well together and it was time to part ways.
    2) I'm glad someone recognized that my biggest takeaway for the video was to grow his channel and I did so successfully. I felt so proud and happy that he cleared over 100,000 subs so quickly. I gave him all the tools and resources to succeed, and I watch him now with a lot of respect and pride!
So yeah, 100% could have handled things better but like you said: hard to do everything perfectly. I appreciate the kinder words about this topic lol

What a sad apologist video made worse by the mutual appreciation society of pinning Yammie Noob’s comment. This is a petty and pathetic attempt at self justification. Even after all this time YN is completely incapable of giving Spite the proper credit due for growing the channel to where it is now. Worse still his ego is so fragile that he has been engaged in revisionist history by removing all references to Spite in the comments on both RUclips and across all social media platforms associated with the channel. Also how conceited is Yammie Noob for trying to take credit for Spite’s success. I am so glad to see that both Josh and Whitney have left the channel also and are now collaborating with Spite. I’m definitely in “Spite’s Corner”!

Yammie, I could tell for awhile that things were not clicking. Even though I still enjoy your content and dialogue with him. I do believe that you helped Spite in many ways and on so many platforms. You were able to give him an experience of a lifetime, in my opinion!
And yes, people like Spite. I may never have subscribed to his channel, if I didn’t see him as often as I did on your channel. I grew to like his personality and respected the knowledge that he shared with all of us viewers. Spite, will be just fine. He will continue to grow. And hopefully, everything between you two will be better.
Furthermore, Spite isn’t the only employee that you have. That you have helped grow. Yet, are are now this Super Villain Squid 🥸. Ok, everyone agrees that the video wasn’t perfect and didn’t go in the direction that you, Spite, and everyone else would have liked it to. It’s ok, you live and you learn. People, can be a Lesson or a Blessing. And again, in my opinion you have shown to be able to do both for people in your life! I’m 44yrs old and still make mistakes. You are still a young, intelligent, and gifted young man!
So keep your head up and chest out, my guy 🫡 and keep making them videos! Then joints is 🔥💯

Wow. That's literally 180 degrees off of every other Yammie vs Spite video I've seen - so well done for that! I'll be 100% honest: I'd love to be in Spite's position right now, so I'm right there with you!
I think you're right. As long as Spite puts HIS personality and style into his vids, he'll be fine... he got the big leg up, so now what he does with it is up to him. Yammie's vids grew tiring for me, so I had almost quit watching his vids before the whole Spite thing, and now there's nothing left there that interests me.

I see it more as a "pushed out of the nest" situation. I've seen yam try to convince spite to start and focus on his own channel a couple times in the past bc he knew it would be successful. He might even play the bad guy to drive traffic to spites channel. After all his channel did explode and he even has a deal with RevZilla now. Of coarse it suck and I might be wrong. Personally I think yams channel was better off with spite. He was there from near the start being the main mod on yams discord. They had great chemistry in video and there dynamics complimented each other. Yam was the sport bike guy and spite was the cruiser Harley guy. It's no secret yam hates Harleys, but spite loved them.

Very great discussion on this point that really was an explosion of opinions and passion.
You are right - I think most anyone would have looked at the job and learning side as a positive. People need to focus more on the positive as it will make peoples lives better - well done for you to take this perspective - and of course waiting until passion and flames died down.

Hey man, thanks! You're right. Too many people like to focus on the negative, and I think that's especially true if they have some (subconscious) envy - it seems to make it easy to vilify. Not saying Yam is a saint, but I'm no saint either.
I wish I could say waiting was a calculated move, but this whole thing happened during my busiest time of year, and then I didn't think much of it until I watched a video by Moto Mengy a week or two ago and decided somebody should say something, so why not me? And here we are. Thanks for stopping by, and ride safe! :)

You make some great points, the attention Spite got and experience gained from being with Yammie is invaluable. Yammie could've gone about this better certainly, but Spite never seemed like a good fit for the channel for me personally and I think Yammie agreed. Glad Spite's doing well, I don't wish him I'll. Yeah totally right , yammie is a great content creator, presenter and businessman . Its so easy to take sides when you dont kno the whole story .
Yammie has been an amazingly successful youtuber so respect.
Spite got fired or quit yes but most of his fans now came off yammies channel . Also spite didnt quit or was fired without reason.
The sadddest part of what happened is that they were most likely friends before that happened, friends in business rarely lasts.
