i am so happy to see this video because i thought i have been damaging my hair doing something similar to this technique. If anyone has ever gotten kinky twists how the ladies twist the hair and roll it between their fingertips at the same time it was like my fingers twisted my hair like that naturally and i felt like i was giving myself split ends something though i did notice my twists were way more defined. I feel so much at ease now. thanks!
This is really smart in terms of showcasing another performing the styling, while the author tutors the audience. Maybe this is being done all over the place, but the first time I've seen it on RUclips.
Watched an old vid from another youtuber and learnedvthis method just 3 days ago. Took out my twists this morning and had the most BANGING twistout ever!!! Thanks for giving this tutorial so others can get the same badazz results!
my mom had this problem and she started to use a product in the Pantene african america hair care line called Deep moisturizing treatment and also she started doing a lot of protective styles with extensions like afro twist, jumbo Senegalese twists, and full sew in. and it worked - her hair is thicker and healthier now.
Luv ur vids/hair..But if from now on cd u plzz put the month n year on ur vids..example 8-2014..bcuz for us new subbies we dnt knw which one's r old n which one's r more recent..thnx in advance
put an oil based product underneath eco-styler gel. The gel will give your style hold while the oil product underneath will make it soft. I live in north florida so the humidity dose hit my hair a little but the gel really helps in maintaining the style.
I feel the same way as others when it comes to your background music. :) I love your hair, makeup, and from what I could see, your outfit as well. I hope you'll do an OOTD!
I've been natural for about 4 years now and I'm finally ready to start experimenting with color. How do you prevent breakage and keep healthy hair while maintaining color and shine?
You are so inspiring because I am so afraid to do a twist out, I feel like I would look crazy, but you look very nice with it and I like it a lot on you. I think I might have to jump out there and do it very soon!!! Also I see you use a lot of different products in your videos, do you have a particular product you use for a specific look?
1. you're so beautiful 2. I love the hair color, did you put a regular dye in it?? I would love to dye my hair the same exact way but im too scared. 3. How long does the rope twist out last for? And do you think i can accomplish that look with using the Shea Moisture curl enhancing smoothie?
i lloooooooooovvee it i twist my hair this way all the time but my hair is not quite that length yet but almost and i've never see that type of pick...i need to get one of those asap but that was sooooo cute and I like my hair big as well!
Definitely trying this when i go to florida for winter break. As of now I'll be wearing finger coils and updos for the sake of length retention and protection/low manipulation in the cold. Glad i found this. (Im also stalking ur channel searching for videos i havent seen yet lol)
Cantu is a protein leave-in. You might be having a protein overload which leaves hair feeling dry. I tend to alternate my protein leave-in with a moisture leave-in so if I do a protein treatment I use my shea moisture leave in and if I do a moisture deep treatment I use my cantu leave in
Love the videos...love love the hair and make-up. What salon did you go to for highlights? Saw you visited Galveston and assumed you were in Houston...or close.
Your one of my favorite natural hair guru's to watch. And I love the music you use :)
Thanks for bringing back the love of Natural hair and doing it in a awesome way. I love the styles so beautiful.
Your hair is so thick and gorgeous, and the highlights make the front look like fire!! I love it!!
