Oh my goodness, the moment where the Fates take Eurydice's belonging's is incredible here... Grace's portrayal sounds so powerful
I love this cast so much
Gloria onitiri is absolutely amazing 💕
This show deserved better at the Oliviers rip to everyone who voted incorrectly
Saw Christopher short as hades and he was incredible in this song - hope someone uploads one of his performances!
Agreed I thought he brought a really interesting vibe to the character!
Yess same here just saw him as Hades yesterday! I really enjoyed has take
@@MossyDroid I saw him last Friday. I agree he's very good, probably the best sung Hades in the West End cast, although he doesn't quite have the stage presence of Zachary James.
Thank you for uploading these!!
❤❤❤
Is it just me or is Hades' timing pretty messy here? Or is that just a stylistic choice I don't understand?
I was thinking the same thing. But they are early in performances, so I think everyone will improve with time
I was at a show last week and he did WAY better (he was fabulous :)). Maybe he just needed some more shows to really find his rhythm as king of the underworld.

Grace's voice is so beautiful, but my God the english accent is so jarring at times. "Shelter osss" instead of "shelter us" is so painful for some reason 😭
That's Grace's specific accent. :) Southern British accents don't do that. (I speak as a southerner.)
Also tbf most of the crowd will be English so the accent will make the show more authentic cos as someone from the north I found it did
I think it’s also jarring because she switches from belting/chest voice to head voice in the middle of the phrase instead of belting the whole thing like in “harbor me”
I had an understudy who seemed to be trying to mimic her accent too. I've listened to Grace's performances, and overall I think the English accent detracted from their singing :( they just can't get the open, easy vowels needed for belting certain sections with this accent! I think they need to mimic what orpheus was doing here - letting some of the accent slip to get the right vowel sounds to avoid straining their voices. You can hear that some of them are HURTING Grace here, that last 'Harbour' especially.
An english actress performing in england for an english audience has an english accent? Who would have thought!
