This began a 9 season journey right after Johnny Carson until the early hours of Nov 27, 1981. NBC gave David Letterman his own late night comedy talk show right after Johnny Carson premiere Feb 1, 1982. Tom Snyder was offered to move Tomorrow to 1:30 but he called it quits.

Hi Doug, Yes, I don’t know why the volume is so low. I’m glad you enjoyed seeing the show. Tom was special. 😀

Any chance that, in your collection, you have an episode of Tomorrow from 1973-4 featuring a roundtable discussion with various game show hosts of the era? I think Tom Kennedy and Monty Hall were among the guests. Thanks!

Any episodes of Tom interviewing people who had any situations of NDE or spiritual circumstances.

Hi Stephen. There may have been shows on the subject, but I don’t recall any. Thank you for watching! 😀

One show I recall was in 1975. Tom interviewed a sky diver whose parachute didn’t open, and yet survived, and Ernest Borgnine recounting an NDE. Would love to see that again

So I see former "Wonderama" host Sonny Fox was an associate producer at the start. Interesting.
Once this debuted, in New York WNBC-TV's "Tonight's News" 15-minute update after "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" was brought to an end (the last known anchor was John Masterman), "The Great Great Show" was moved to 2 A.M., and a sign-off newscast read by NBC New York staff announcers (some of whom were quite legendary) was started.
