I just checked my copy of Burbank '68. There is an error in the tracklisting: Baby What you want me to do is listed as June 26 ( there is not a known tape from this date. All songs and dialogue are from June 25 and complete! Joe tunzi Sessions III supports this claim. The other dressingroom rehearsal from June 24 was released on the Complete Comeback special 4 CD boxset. Please remember that FTD releases are full of printing errors.

It's crazy how Memories is the only set to feature the real live version of If I can dream. I don't understand how they left it off the 50th anniversary set. Most fans don't even realize this.

It is definitely perplexing. Memories is just the most fun Comeback CD release to listen to, full stop. The original album definitely isn't my favorite way to listen to it.

I was told by Ernst that the main reason for FTD was to offer material to fans that wouldn’t be suitable for retail.
I also agree about the competition against bootlegs, but when I asked Ernst , that’s what he told me. 😊

I asked Ernst himself why he began a collector label (FTD) and he told me the main reason was to offer fans material that was not suitable for the retail market.
I do agree that one of the incentives was to compete with the bootleg market, but that was the first thing Ernst told me in our hour long conversation. 😊

I've never owned that, but I do own Memories, Tiger Man, and the Deluxe DVD box set of the whole show with alternates n' outtakes etc. I have the original album/CD too, lol.

Great reviews guys, I do love everything 68, can I ask if you'll be reviewing the new Memphis box set? Will we finally get the definitive 69 and 76 recordings? Cheers JnJ. ❤❤❤

Hey guys I've just bought my first FTD The jungle room sessions can't wait to give a listen thanks to your recommendations and out of curiosity. It's a few days from the Memphis box set to be released. Will you be doing a review on the same day or review come week later Love you videos. This is a good one

I've never owned this one - but one time I saw it used at my local record store. Opened it up and what disc was inside? Memories CD 2! Bummer.

In hindisght, launching a label with a lot of low fidelity material wasn't the wisest move, especially on the back of further '68 special material appearing on the main label the year prior [they have a tendency for overkill as they did with Vegas material appearing on three quick succession releases in the early noughties].
The Jungle Room Sessions would seem to have been the more natural introductory release for the label.
I also recall a rumour going around at the time, that one of the other reasons that the label was launched, was to take the heat off certain individuals within the organization who had ties with the bootleg fraternity.
