- Face Fusion Installation & Demo. I guess the hype is real! This is the best face swapper I've come across so far, it can actually do my likeness, unlike others that fall short. However this one is great as it can do face swapping for video relatively easy too! I'll cover the install using the Pinokio installer and show a quick demo on swapping faces for both images and video.
In case you are wondering I'm running this on a Ryzen 5800X, 3060Ti 8GB VRAM, 32GB system RAM and I have no issues running it. You can expect video to take awhile to generate depending on how long the clip is.

I really appreciate how easy this is to use but I will dive deeper in the other settings in another video. Are you using Face Fusion right now?

this tool simple motion can but with some motion fast or hand put at the face ..you will get bad result...no rotoscoping ..just swap

Yes I've been using face fusion for a long time. It gives great results. The problem is the resolution of the face swap. The model are using 128 x 256. There are some newer 512 models but the accuracy is less I find. The resulting image also is a smaller sized image at about 640 px. I have to run it back through comfy and then an upscale. I usually use Upscayl for quick upscale after Face Fusion

@MonzonMedia I have an intel evo i7 11th gen only with 16 gb ram, and I don't have a graphics card
So far I'm liking my experience with Face Fusion, as I was using Rope-Opal from Hillobar for face swapping with videos. I might just end up using that mainly for images than videos. I like how the settings are on this one to get better results for deepfaking videos with my AI model. I like the fact that this also has an output option for 60 FPS and 4K if I wanted to upscale the video some to clearer quality.
I love the video easiest i I've seen on how to do this. More toutrials like this please on how to use face fusion. Thank you very much.

Hi there do i have do reinstall it after shutting down? I tried reopening after shutting down, it gave me a preview of the target image but doesn't preform the actual swapping when I press start.
Great tut. Just wish I'd known it doesn't do NSFW before I installed. And the filter bypass looks intimidating beyond my pay grade.

this is great, but I wish there was something that would change the hairstyle. Kind of like in FaceApp, when you switch faces. Like If I have brown hair and am swapping faces with someone who has black hair, it would change the hair to be brown as well. Wish we could apply hair styles to it too
Yeah that would be nice, I'm sure we will get there eventually. Easy to do in photo editing apps though.
When installing from pinokio I click in the end on launch default. It says ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘cv2’ . Mac intel I5

I think face fusion more better for face swap than roop, but sometimes face look dark, i mean roop almost like that because nsfw filter

Thank you sir! Roop was also so very buggy for me in A1111, this one has been very reliable. This one also can't do NSFW though.
@@MonzonMediayes it can do NSFW. You can remove the filter with one line of code. I like face reactor with codeformers then upscale and face refinement. For better results but this works for quick swaps with decent quality. Only problem is faces are realistic and when swapping realism into artwork you can see the difference in the realism. You have to refine in upscale to make it look artistic again

during installation mine says at the bottom right, look for a dialogue requesting admin permission and approve it

Am on a 2023 M3 Mac Pro, when I download Pinokio and go to download FaceFusion it says update to install (request script v support). Any help?

@@MonzonMedia Thanks I was able to follow your intructions and am using it now, but cant figure out how to asign a specific face to a specific actor. So with 2 actors for instance. Currently it asigns one face to all actors
@@proximocrypticus1175 I'm assuming you are using a group photo for the target image? Under face selector mode make sure it's on reference and underneath you should see "reference face" thumbnails. Ooohhh I see works the same way, pick a preview frame above where both actors are visible. You should be able to select the faces the same way.

Yeah unfortunately you have to set it all the time. I suspect there is a config file somewhere to change the defaults but I haven’t really looked into it. Will see if I can find out. 👍🏼

Good question, tbh I don't know but I can find out since I used to use OBS to record. There is a webcam function to capture so, possibly?
Output is not generated it shows black screen in place of output video (time-00:00 shows in output video)

Does this also work on a windows surface 6 pro with low graphic card? Or do I need a visual Studio or google colab ?
It can work on CPU maybe but will be hella slow. This program works best with a dedicated GPU, especially an Nvidia GPU.
The output comes out as a text file in my own case? Any fix for that, please?

I just do it through browser settings in Chrome. Settings>Appearence>Mode>Dark

Just a question. I don't know if you will know the answer. I am running 2.4.0. Never had a problem until the other day. I can do everything with the cpu setting but now all of the sudden when I switch to the cuda setting all I get is an error in the preview box. Any thoughts on how to correct this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I am still having the same problem. Thank you.
what gpu do you have? what are your system specs?
@@MonzonMedia Nvidia 3090. I never had a problem before and was using cuda until just recently happened.
Windows 11. Alienware Area 51 R2.
Quite possible the support for cuda 12. As per their announcement….

@everyone I updated the `inswapper_128.onnx` and `inswapper_128_fp16.onnx` today to support CUDA 12. Regrettably, this could lead to corrupted models due mixing remote and local versions instead of re-downloading them. Please remove both files in your `.assets/models` directory to resolve this issue.

Definitely not CPU and Cuda is for PC's with NVidia GPU's. You should have another option for mac. Face swapping for video is very system intensive especially on the GPU. I would test it with a 4 second clip first to get an idea how it runs. Generally AI programs for Mac don't perform well unfortunately.

Depends on your system, the gpu, length of the clip, resolution.
I don't know why after my video is generated It is downloaded successfully but I don't know why the video only have the sound and is only have a black screen

So you are running it through Pinokio so not much to an installation part
Pinokio is the installer and yes it's very easy using it. But this app works best with an Nvidia GPU, otherwise AMD, Mac may not run efficiently.

Thanks you for the tuto, now they removed FS from google colab, it was very simple and smooth on it, but now i use Pinokio but god is it normal that IS SO BADLY SLOW ? It take like 30 minutes for a 6 seconds video, is that normal ? Or of what the rapidity depends ?
What are your system specs? Also make sure in the options you select cuda vs cpu if you have an NVidia graphics card. If AMD or Mac there should be another option. Rendering video does take long depending on your system

@Arthyum ahhhh probably why, AMD isn’t really optimized for things like this generally. Other than cpu what other options does it show? Whatever it is try it and see if it improves the generation time.
It's hard not to get snarky when people post comments like this. For me, a single face 36 minute 3840x2160 30FPS clip takes 36 minutes for FS, slightly less for the enhancer run. Because I have a 4090. If I try to run the same clip on my M2 ultra, it will take a whole day. If you don't tell people what hardware you're using, you're not going to get an answer that means anything. You can't expect to get help if we don't know what hardware you are using. So set your thread count to 900 and EQC to a billion. It will go faster. And don't tell people you're using pinokio.

Technically it can output 8K if your GPU can handle it.

Nvidia is always best for AI related platforms at the moment, however Facefusion can run on AMD and Mac but I can't say anything about performance since I don't own them.

It should show up automatically if you have an Nvidia graphics card

@@fostercalli7100 For NSFW you're likely better off using an extension for A1111 like Faceswaplab. I dont recall it blocking me. You can always easily trick these systems the same way we have to trick Adobe. If the girl has a bikini or a sports bra, adobe automatically blocks Generative AI, so I just create a fake layer, like a big box covering her body, implement Generative AI and it no longer seems so much flesh and once you get the repair you need, just through away the junk layer that was covering her body.

I use this with Pinokio installer so it handles all of that. If you choose to install it manually then you could always install it on a separate drive.

Check at 2:48 it’s a setting. If you have an Nvidia GPU select cuda.

At the bottom left there is a field for the output path, it will be based on your set up. You have to paste your path in there to save it to a folder of your choice.
