Never apologise Luca for saying how you feel. You’ve been to hell and back, you’ve every right to feel grateful, happy or elated. If you want to jump up and down in the middle of the colosseum shouting “hello beautiful people”, you can. It’s your voice, they’re your feelings. We all would jump up and down in the middle of Vatican City, if we could to shout how happy we are for you. It was wonderful seeing your beautiful smile back. Your genuine happiness was evident in this video, even though you’re still in pain with your spine. Next year all of this will just be a distant memory. Love to you, Sara and Luce ❤

My daughter had CSF 5 yrs ago and had the blood patch and then approximately 8 months ago she got the same symptoms and has had all the tests all done again and has been having a problem with a Dr. That knows much about it so she has done so much research and finally found a Dr and he has another procedure that is new so she is waiting for them to schedule the new tests and hopefully get herself fixed because the headaches are at times so unbearable. Good luck Luca and keep getting better.
Luca is a ROCK STAR. Never complains about anything and is so positive about everything. What an inspiration to us all.
Sarah has played a heroic role in his recovery, too. They are one.

Being able to get out of bed on his own and then walking had to be an amazing feeling. Having spent some lengthy hospital stays ... I felt relief for him. We don't realize how we take our independence for granted until something catastrophic happens. I am so happy for Luca. I have to say I teared up so bad when he held Luce's onsie. Such a tender moment 🥰
It was impossible not to cry as Luca held Lucia's clothing to his face and to hear Sara's crying in relief and happiness when Luca walked. Then impossible not to smile when looking at two standing, happy beautiful people! So happy for you!!

How beautiful it was to see Luca get into the wheelchair and then walking. This is a great improvement and Luca and Sara's positive attitudes have helped the healing process. A Bible verse that has popped up my entire life is Psalms 118:24 -- "This is the day the Lord has made; let us be glad and rejoice in it." You two have always exemplified this every day, but never as much as during this incredible challenge. Seeing Luca on his feet fills our hearts with joy! Prayers for you Luca during your operation! Father God please help Luca. Please make sure that the operating room is clean and nothing is in there that can harm him. Please Father have the surgeon be awake and alert and do an excellent job. Have him catch any other problems or anything different that he needs to know about please alert the surgeon. Please help all infection to not get anywhere near Luca. Please help his incisions to be cleaned properly. For Luca to be kept safe. I asked this in Jesus name Amen.

In America we have a saying “The world is your Oyster”. So thrilled to see Luca feeling better! The medical field is truly amazing. Thank goodness Luca was in the right place and time when he became ill, his guardian Angel was certainly watching over him. Watching him walk made me tear up, so wonderful.

Thank god that Luca came through this sealing of the CFS leak so successfully and after he recovered from this surgery, now he is walking around in the upright walker. So happy that he will soon be able to walk on his own and be able to go home! So incredibly exciting! He must sill be careful and take things slow and be careful of your neck and lower lumbar spine. We don’t need any more injuries.
Finally Sara can rest and get her energy back and bring her stress levels down again. Much love to all of you! 🌟

So wonderful to see Luca on the healing path. I myself suffered a spinal cord injury in 2017 and had to learn to walk again and spent a month in the hospital following the surgery and then months of rehabilitation. I had to have a blood patch after my birthing epidural. My headaches went away really quickly after my blood patch. I am so grateful for modern medicine and intelligent doctors.
We are sending our love to both of you. You’ll be home soon and driving the Italian coast and working in your garden.

I am bawling. Just seeing you walk, what a heroic person you are Luca! It takes great determination to get to where you are. Sara, my dear, I will say it again and again. Please go take a spa day, all alone all day. Massages, facials, blow out, nails, a nap and a long overdue cry of relief and release. You saved his life and your family, now pamper yourself. My brother at the age of 26 had a stroke, caused by a hole in the back side of his heart that went undiagnosed until he had a stroke. He too was paralyzed on one half of his body and regained the ability to speak, the ability to walk, and write, and use his hands. He is a master carpenter and so having a stroke at such a young age is so hard, but with lots of hard work and a positive attitude, what seems like mount Everest at first, can be climbed one day at a time. My brother is back to work building and living life, he now has a little boy. Way to Go LUCA and Sara, you are a rockstar, and don't forget to be proud of what you have accomplished in these few weeks, you saved a life, split your life to care for Luca and your beautiful daughter. You deserve a medal, and a BIG hug from all of us! All the best!
