I think for the first main game not developed by Naughty Dog, and the fourth in the series, this was a good game. The vehicles were a bit too frequent, but they kept WoC from being too much like the originals. I also only got 10 second loading times on the PS2 version so...I don't personally think the game sucks.

This is the first Crash Bandicoot game to be released on other consoles that are not just Playstation. On the Xbox version of the game, there is a cheat where you can beat the game in full 100%. When you start a new game, you'll be told to type in a name. Type in "WOMBAT" and the cheat will be activated. This is also the first Crash Bandicoot game where Coco has combat moves when you play as her. This game was originally going to be a free roam game, but the concept of that idea was later scrapped and the idea wasn't used until Crash Twinsanity (2004) was released.

This game isn't terrible it's just bad, I agree the water levels are not functional. The vehicles are mainly bad, except for maybe one or two, MOST the platforming levels, are basic and are just nitro box spammed and the secret warp room for the most part is a joke, (nature's force makes me wanna kms. However, the great music this game offers, some of the levels like crash and burn, the first coco level, cortex vortex, the gauntlet, and knight time, are great levels and make this game go from terrible to just bad. Also I disagree I think the ball levels work good enough, are fun and good, especially by this game's standards. I would give this a 4/10. 1/7 Seems a bit to low.

Also Crash woc was literally copying crash warped but added 7 new vechile levels and aside from the ball and minecart levels, the vechiles in warped are far better the woc. Also Warped's platforming levels are much better then woc, as stimpy said the literally shit on nitros to make the game difficult. Also crash controls better in warped for example crash can actaully glide with the tornado spin, unlike in woc.
@@icebro5059 While it may have 6 vehicles on warped you play them like 2-3 times each which makes it even more annoying. There are 4 levels of the motocycle levels, thats 16% of the game.
i think technical issues shouldnt be an argument against a game yes there are some glitches in pokemon gen 1 games but if you dont cause the glitch or avoid it the game is pretty good for its time at least for example sonic 2 is a really long game and it doesnt have any save system so you are expected not only to play the whole game in one go but are also to play the whole game if you fuck up at the end and people glorify this game as the best sonic game ever the technical issues are mostly used as an argument against bad games most of the time and i dont think its fair either judge every game similarly or dont bring up technical issues at all exoparadigmgamer explained it really well in his remake or rebrake episode of sonic adventure games

This is 90% just a big hissy fit. I dunno wtf your talking about “the death routes are just a normal level with nitro”. They have difficult platforming along with difficult obstacles that are hard to avoid. The gauntlet and wizards and lizards’ death routes are a perfect example. But just cut anything good about the game completely out of the video right? Oh and about that, you just don’t even acknowledge in compactor reactor that most of the level is on foot, even though you were throwing a huge temper tantrum over the fact that you were in a mine cart for like 20 seconds. Another example of that is you just completely skipped over like 5 levels. And of course one of them was crash and burn, one of the best levels in the game. The Wrath of Cortex had it's flaws, but it was way better than It's About Time. Why was it better than It's About Time? Well, obviously, because The Wrath of Cortex wasn't as gimmicky as It's About Time! And by "Gimmicky", It's About Time has the crappy Quantum Masks, the power-ups from Warped (Except for the double jump power-up) did not make a return in It's About Time, Dingodile, Tawna and Cortex's gameplays suck, It's About Time is a copied, pasted and edited version of Warped with time travel and multi-verses, etc.. It's About Time sucks because it's not as good as The Wrath of Cortex. The Wrath of Cortex deserves a remake. Enough said. Fun facts: The Greatest Hits version of the PS2 version of The Wrath of Cortex had shorter load times.

Also its about time didnt spam nitros like wrath of cortex. Wrath of cortex feels more like a low effort fan game or mod like cortex forgets back than a real game. The only flaw of its about time are the animal riding levels even the vehicles in its about time control fine. The Wrath of Cortex had it's flaws, but it was way better than It's About Time. Why was it better than It's About Time? Well, obviously, because The Wrath of Cortex wasn't as gimmicky as It's About Time! And by "Gimmicky", It's About Time has the crappy Quantum Masks, the power-ups from Warped (Except for the double jump power-up) did not make a return in It's About Time, Dingodile, Tawna and Cortex's gameplays suck, It's About Time is a copied, pasted and edited version of Warped with time travel and multi-verses, etc.. It's About Time sucks because it's not as good as The Wrath of Cortex. The Wrath of Cortex deserves a remake. Enough said. Fun facts: The Greatest Hits version of the PS2 version of The Wrath of Cortex had shorter load times.

wrath of cortex is ass. Its about time is gimicky but the difference is the quantum masks are for platforming whereas wrath of cortex's gimick is spamming wonky boring vehicles. Your claim its about time is a copy of warped is laughable. What is "copied from warped" in its about time? You didnt mention a single thing in your comment. Also its about time didnt spam nitros like wrath of cortex. Wrath of cortex feels more like a low effort fan game or mod like cortex forgets back than a real game. The only flaw of its about time are the animal riding levels even the vehicles in its about time control fine. Your just salty due to the high difficulty of the game, you probably never gotten all N sanley perfect medals of every level. Word of advice git gud srub.
