Awesome video Mandee! Jr. did a great job coming back after the flat. Because that track looked very rough but fast. Good Luck to your dad at Bridgeport and Jr at New Egypt.
For those that criticize dry slick tracks, you can probably see why many drivers prefer them. Easier on equipment & the body. Billy looks to be still a little under the weather, hopefully he's back to 100% really soon. Great video again Mandee, thank you! Under the circumstances, 6th is a good night. 👍

I was there. Billy Jr attacks Georgetown Speedway like no other. After that flat and starting at the rear it was exhilarating watching him slice through the field...some gutsy moves. I guess due to the rain the previous day going into turn 2 and later between 3 & 4 became tortuous on suspensions.

It was such a rough track it was hard to make any good moves but billy found a way to get back up to the front after the flat

And in other news, At New Hampshire International Speedway, today Sat. Sept.12, 20, Bobby Santos Jr. takes the win of the Musket @00 for the NASCAR Modified Tour. This was his second consecutive win of this event.
If that brand cut a deal and sponsed the 96 Billy jr could help them recoup all of the losses they've suffered in 2020. My son Carl and I were proudly wearing our new shirts last night as he was charging thru the pack at New Egypt. Congrats to Dad on the championship at Bridgeport.
Best race was by the 6th place driver ! That's racing !!

Question for Billy. It seems cars go over the birm between turns 1 and 2 more than between turns 3 and 4. Why is that? Also do the #96 and #15 use the same chassis? How about engines? Which does he prefer? How did it feel driving his Dad's #1 at Bridgeport a few weeks ago?

Why would a tire shred like that? Defective tire or mounting problem? Talk about case-book perseverance! Loved the camera on driver video. From about 17m on you could see him slicing through traffic. I did not realize until this video Billy got a left-front flat a few laps from the finish.
I see all the little dirt clotters, getting a ride running around on the deck, lolol, nice day thanks BigAl California.
That track is Grand Canyon rotted, wow, I seen a few car bicycling, terrible track preparations, kool thanks y’all BigAl California.

Maybe you have missed out because y'all aren't late model people, but the big issue is not to have a filter in the fuel funnel like I saw in this video. Rick Eckert's 5 year old grandson was burned severely. Apparently the filter can build a static charge and ignite the fuel vapor.

Been watching for a while and have a question. Up North East, modifieds have the driver in the center of the car. Southern modifieds have the driver to the left. Why the difference?
Just the way the cars evolved over time. The Northeast Mods are more like an overblown sprint car, driver in center and straight front axel. The IMCA style miss are more like the Super Late Models, driver on left and a frame front end

you better watch what your doing with that filter and funnel while fueling.. IN FACT DON'T USE THE FILTER ! NO MATTER WHAT MATERIAL IT IS. A LOT OF FIRES ARE BEING CAUSED BY THE FILTER MAKING TO MUCH ASPIRATION (GASSES), TOGETHER WITH STATIC ELEC. a poor little boy was seriously hurt at port royal just last week. Please see this post and look it up.

No, not really... sometimes its just driver preference or if the crew isn't done getting the car ready

That is a question i was wondering about myself and the to look at bp2's flat afterwards???? kinda crazy clearly most of the visible damage happened after the flat but i think i would have a real close look to see if something suspension wise could have contacted it???

I seriously don’t get why the dang east coast tracks are so rough. And how would it be fun racing on those kind of tracks. Just tears stuff up.
Crappy rainy weather in the area this Summer. Some tracks are just prepared poorly.

The track isn’t bad... it had a bad night. There’s a difference. Despite the conditions it still had some of the best racing out there
