Grace, you could do a “using things up” challenge where you have to make a meal for everyone using only items that are already open in your fridge etc! Xx
Video idea: -compete against your mom and see if the family will recognize who cooked which plate. -Use a similar recipe from Nigella Lawson, Mary Berry and other famous cook to find out whose the best. -Make a chocolate souffle. -let your in-laws choose recipes of their childhood for you to make.
Hello there Grace, today I went to Starbucks and had A Toastie To Be Thankful For (A toasted sandwich filled with shredded Ham Hock, Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, a Potato, Leek, Cabbage & Sprout Hash in a Sourdough Bloomer topped with a Cheddar Cheese Sauce and Dried Cranberries), a Mint Hot Chocolate and a Chocolate Chip Cookie. I hope and trust that you, your family and Honor have had a Merry Christmas and a Happy Prosperous New Year. Best wishes and take care. Kind regards, Peter Skuce. St Albans. Hertfordshire.
I love your commitment to cooking something over long periods of time.. I don't think I have that in me.... also, with the 2 min cookie, do you think it might enhance it if baked in the oven rather than the microwave?
Your channel is my safe space 🥺❤️ you have no idea how comforting your content is to me right now. I could watch your videos all day long. Thank you ❤️
It would be so fun seeing a video on you giving instructions to your dad for a recipe but you dad doesn't know what he's making. You can only give him verbal instructions! :)
Really enjoy watching you bake. Have you thought of coaching Taz on her meal prep? (So she doesn't make a week worth of the same meal!) Like how you made a week of food ahead so you didn't stress about what to have.. And, I enjoyed your forays into "out of my comfort zone" tasks that you did. And I'd love to see you get a Cricut & start crafting. Happy new year!
@@lize5656 on the Nike website they don’t normally sell the pieces together so you’ll probably just look up classic fleece pants or joggers and for the hoodie you’ll look up pullover training hoodie they have the different fabrics though so you could get fleece or the dry-fit type material which is thinner then they also have therma but just type those keywords in and you should find it or something similar to what she has on
Hi Grace! Always lovely to see you in my sub box ❤ Maybe you could do a video of like a microwave challenge? Like cooking meals for 24h only in the microwave. Would be very interesting and fun I think :)
american recipes always use granulated sugar, we don't really do caster sugar nearly as much over here. maybe thats why it feels like recipes are always changing their mind!
When I heard “caster sugar” in British recipes, I always assumed they used granulated. I thought they were the same thing (like icing sugar and powdered sugar just having different names)!
I use a recipe that looks fairly similar to the 2h one in the video but I ALWAYS make a brown butter when I make cookies. Try the 2h recipe with the brown butter, it makes a massive change and they're so much better.
What do you think would happen if you did the two day recipe, but only left it in the fridge for say, 2 hours? How big of a difference do you think it would make
NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION : don't eat so many cookies First Grackle video of 2022 - 3 delicious cookie recipes - so long resolution ! Happy New Year Grace !
Hmm what about a video where you make food inspired by the flavours of a product like quality street but you can't use that product eg green triangle dessert
it would be cool to do a video of making the 2 hour recipe cookies but test different fridge times? cooking straight away, 2 hours, 12 hours etc. see what difference it makes!
I've never been able to find caster sugar in the US. all our recipes call for granulated so whenever I'm met with a recipe calling for caster sugar I just feel so sad 😭
Now... this puts me in mind of a couple of steak experiments! One would be based on maturity (aged 30 hours vs. aged 30 days) and the other would be based on cooking times (2 minutes vs. 2 hours vs. 2 days, though the methods would obviously have to be different, 2 minutes being fried or grilled and the others being braised / poached / otherwise slow cooked). Would you fancy giving that a go, Grackle?
Caster vs granulated sugar might be an American/British difference. I didn't know what caster sugar was until I was an adult and I've never used it, because it's just not a thing here in the US
@@JB-vd8bi yep! Wasn't saying it was a different word for the same thing, but rather that American recipes often use granulated sugar where British recipes use caster sugar, because we don't have caster sugar here. At least not widely available, anyway
What about a budget challenge, that you live a day/week from a certain low budget? And maybe something like recreating certain famout dishes/products, like BigMac etc. ?
I was hoping for it. Maybe not to force Grace to do it. But a few Veganuary videos would be lovely and gratefully received. I always relied on Grace to find all the new stuff ;)
Posting my vegan cookie recipe again for the 10th time hoping you’ll try it 😂🥲 * 200ml extra virgin olive oil (a milder fruity variety) * 80ml cold water * 240g coconut sugar (important) * 1½ tbs vanilla paste or extract * 340g plain flour or spelt flour * 2 tsp baking powder * ½ tsp sea salt * 200g good quality block vegan dark chocolate, roughly 1. Whisk the olive oil, coconut sugar, water, and vanilla, in a large bowl. 2. Add the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and dark chocolate, and mix well to combine. 3. Place the dough into the fridge overnight to rest 4. Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F (fan forced oven). 5. Scoop the mixture into balls and place onto paper-lined baking trays (don’t flatten them before baking). 6. Bake for 14 minutes. 7. Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately bang the baking tray on the kitchen bench/countertop to flatten them. 8. Cool and rest for 10 minutes before serving. 9. Store in an airtight container

I’d love to see Papa Booth and Grack doing some baking (and then taste testing) together - I feel like that would be some joyful chaos! 🥰

Vanilla pudding mix chocolate chip cookies are the best cookies I’ve ever had- hands down. You should try them!
I have a cookie recipe that uses a tablespoon of golden syrup instead of an egg so you could try that if you don’t want to waste the egg 😊

Put your granulated through a blender or food processor and you have caster sugar. Just do really small bursts or you'll powder it

Your "light brown sugar" looks awfully dark. I suspect that's dark brown sugar, and the difference in molasses content has a huge effect.
