Edit: We lost but I learned a lot about Sunset in the meantime. Our Viper was pretty bored, and our mid take was super weak

Thank you for these guides! They’ve been working reliably in our open 5 premier games. More importantly, however, it helps me understand the way the map should be played and takes the guesswork out of which agent I should fill in ranked. Every map guide I’ve watched has increased my wr % by more than I’d like to admit!
I don't think the smoke timings for Omen on the B hit work with the way you have this set out. It takes 30 sec for a smoke to recharge, and smokes each last 15 sec. This makes it impossible to have 2 smokes up for the site hit if you insta-throw a smoke top mid (unless you sit around for 10-15 sec with no smokes anywhere). Sitting waiting for smokes to recharge feels really bad because really the only place where you could do that is behind the pillar mid, but that's pretty terrifying with no top mid smoke. I generally find it's a ton easier to just use two smokes for the execute (insta throw one top mid then the second is for either CT or crossing market), then you'll have your last smoke coming up in time to smoke off the retakers.
An easy way to ballpark Omen smoke timings is either you get 3 smokes in a row OR two smokes simultaneously. If you want 3 smokes, you have to be ok with your previous smoke dropping as you place the next one (or having a gap where nothing is smoked for a bit).

personally i would trade the skye for breach because of how narrow the map is his util gets so much value. to compensate for the loss of the info i would substitute chamber for cypher so he could use his trips and cam while lurking for more info and map control. also astra clear omen in many holds, which is imperative for how attack sided the map feels. just my opinion tho, loved the vid

I’m curious as to why you chose omen for the team comp when you made a whole video on why harbor is better on sunset
lots of people haven’t invested time into learning harbor properly. omen is the much more common controller people will know how to play
I think Omen is pretty great on this map because there are great elevation points on every single spot of the map. If you dont have Omen perhaps consider Jett or Raze, someone who can benefit the elevation everywhere.

Omen gets the job done, but Harbor is better. Omen is much simpler than Harbor so that definitely is a factor. I think the same can be said for Skye vs. Fade.

You have to be completely trolling to not have a sentinel on this map. Without a cypher you're shooting yourself in the foot with how much info you lose.

Based on the games seen so far, I still am hesitant to say Viper is needed for this map or even works best for this map.

I think suggesting Fade over skye will cause a lot of problems due to the lack of pop-flashes
Fade is generally better on the map, but it's harder to make work without proper synchrony with your team. I don't think is just about pop-flashes alone.
@@pickyraccoon This isn't pro play, Having a Skye that can fix broken/bad recon utility with flashes as well as them being harder to dodge for most of the ranked community makes skye a better pick overall
