Dubrovnik city walls entry seem expensive, but there are two reasons. Dubrovnik is extremely popular, so with this price a number of visitors is reduced to avoid overcrowding (it can already be a huge problem in the city itself), but also for the maintenance of the city wall itself. Same goes for Plitvice Lakes, price was raised due to overcrowding.
Hello from Croatia. Thank you for your reaction. We are a small, yet beautiful country, and though I live on the coast, the inner part of the country is beautiful as well.
Croatia is just amazing. There's so many more beautiful places like Krka waterfalls, Mljet national park, Split city, Trogir, Zadar, Pula... It goes on and on.
Croatia is sooooo beautiful. The see,the wether, food, people are relaxed in Dalmatia. There the dogs from, you know 1001 Dalmatans. The Necktie is evented there. The pencil,,Penkala,, first torpedoe.Nikola Tesla was born there. On,and on
Greetings from Croatia! I really like your videos and reactions. Only smaller cities in Croatia are shown in the video. My recommendation is that you watch another video showing major cities like Zagreb, Split, Varazdin, Zadar, Pula, Sibenik, etc.
great reaction video guys... don't be surprised about prices in Dubrovnik, it became way to overcrowded last decade or so especialy after game of thrones setting and locals knows how to cash it in... way to many cruise ships and such are landing there so- no surprise... however if u willing to visit out of season (late october all the way to late may) u'll end up with plenty of cash leftovers in your pocket... season time is methaphorically speaking- daytime robbery. it's pretty much same everywhere along the coastline cause it's pristine and stlll way more preserved and looked after than Italian, Spanish, Portugese or French rivieras... Grece could get in the same sentence with beauty as Croatia but close proximity to continental Europe makes Croatia famous holiday destination... and yes u right, there's plenty of amazing places to see in continental part of Croatia although, not as much advertised as coastline...
There is no need to be surprised about high prices. Our country is affected a lot with the problem of overtourism, which affects all in our country, mostly in a negative way, exploiting nature resources, monuments etc. so the higher price is just one of the decisions to de-escalate that impact. There is no malice here. We just need to control the impact of tourism better to save our heritage for future generations, and this is just one of the ways to do it, and it's not the only one. And yes, during the summer season, the weather is 80% of the time, as on video shot by that dude. ❤ peace ✌️
To be honest, there are so many more things to see than just the coast and popular islands and cities everyone goes to. I'm always underwhelmed by videos that just show beachy towns. Show Slavonia, Zagorje, we have other National parks, everyone just shows Plitvice 🙄 We have mountains, we have rivers, we have castles, we have forests, we have lakes and we have so much history and culture. I prefer the Croatian promo video with our football players. I think you should watch that! Not saying our coast isn't gorgeous, but there's so much more to see and to explore 😊 A warm hug from Croatia
Hi. There are no tourist prices in Croatia. The ticket prices out of season are muche cheaper. In the winter when the Plitvice waterfalls are frozen and give completly different experience the price is 10€.
As a Croatian, and not that anything is wrong with Dubrovnik other then being crowded during peak season, you ought consider visiting Hvar too. I go there every year myself. If you want to see bit less crowds and get the island vibe with it.
I'm from Croatia and yes, such high prices apply to EVERYONE (natives and tourists) ... most Croatian citizens cannot afford such trips (especially after the introduction of the EURO and the time after covid, where they decided to constantly lower the standard for the population - eventually we will have barely (if?) for food and water)
Sadly- yes. It is expensive. Pretty good amount of people from central part can't really afford to visit almost any of these from Video. It used to be cheaper, but the moment we got Euro instead of Kuna prices went about the sky. I mean you can always enjoy the beautifull sea for free, but if you want that ''extra' in cities-' you'll have to pay good amount of money.
Little advice if u come to Croatia...avoid famous spots...go to them just to look around dont stay too long...its expensive and tourist traps....go around the Croatia see the real thing....try Karlovac...city on 4 rivers....cheap yet beautifull also u have swimming spots on all 4 rivers....
musical reactions Americans are completely ignorant about Brazil, it's the American government's fault, the United States has a bad government, like the whole world, here in Brazil, too.
@@InesTasic if he goes into expensive hotels and stores!!you have there for rich and normal persons too!! i talk about normal persons (as in Croatia) !!you can take cheaper acomodation too there!!
@@Mr11ESSE111and in Croatia you can take cheaper tickets for everything if you go in off-season.. and how crowded would it be if it was cheaper in the season?!
Plitvice is not just ordinary waterfalls in the forest, but a fenced national park that is maintained from those tickets and the price is the same for us Croats

They are entitled to be expensive, What only England, Germany and France is allowed to be expensive? No one complains about those overpriced countries

Marko, or RIM TIM TAGI DIM, as you say, lives in Istria. It is a peninsula near Italy. Personally, Istria is my favorite.

about Dubrovnik walls, everyone who came to Dubrovnik in medieval times had to bring a stone with himself if they wanted to enter the city.

Croatia more expensive then Dubai and can you see something special hmm not so
Wow that is so untrue, my husband has been in Dubai many times and he says it's the place only for deep pockets.
you are comparing a fake city in the desert with Croatia, it is ridiculous and incomparable
