I made this cake as a surprise for my brother's wedding since they are both mad on Star Wars! Plus it gave me an excuse to make one!! This is how it was made...........
AWESOMEEEE!!!! I really would like to include the LED stripes, but I can't find them anywhere on amazon (I can only find blue or green, but not this turquoise colour) - can anyone help me with that? I would greatly appreciate that...
Hiya Thank you! I bought LED strip lights from Amazon and wired it to allow it to light up with a 9V battery. red wire is positive and black wire is negative. Hope that helps :)
I was impressed to see this cake; it is spectacular. I want to do something similar to my grandson. Unfortunately, there are no explanations in the video.
@@lillyshepherd1357 No. I couldn't find a strip of LEDs in time. I did get a set of mini christmas lights to be stars all around and I coated the bottom of my cake tray with black sprinkles. Stars and the dark of space

Playback speed to low, and then look up how to do the techniques as you follow along. I'm doing this (or an approximation of it) today.
@@eavening4149 did you do anything for the light part?

Thank you! From memory I think I used around 1kg. I mixed trace amounts of blue and grey colouring into white fondant.
