Love going green! Great warmup trail- nice and wide so you can pass (or be passed) safely… lots of fun little side features to hit that keep it interesting as you repeat laps… if you like that one and want to step it up a bit, check turtle… slightly steeper with lots of berms to practice on, but no drops or jumps you need to worry about… stay at your own comfortable pace and have fun!! (Never let a buddy talk you into something you are uncomfortable with either- especially in the beginning- comfort and confidence is key)
@@mtb_alan it doesn't really compare to any other trail at Snow Summit. Maybe a combo of Party Wave and Miracle Mile. I guess the doubles make it a little more challenging but still unclear why it's a double black diamond. Party Wave has bigger jumps with more consequence.
The reasoning might be that 10 Ply is, on average, steeper and looser than Miracle. Another recent factor is probably that there are jumps with gaps and consequences. Keep in mind that trail ratings are based on the abilities of the average ridership and a trail's relative difficulty to the rest of the trail system. You might be just as comfortable on 10 Ply as you are on Miracle Mile. Within the general ridership at Snow Summit, that is unusual. Most people find 10 Ply to be more difficult than Miracle Mile. It might not be that the rating system is hard to understand. It might be that you're an outlier in your skillset.
We ran into you up there yesterday. One of our groms recognized you. Then, we saw you did your friends at the lift.......We had a good laugh
