DJI Pocket 3 | 4K HLG - HDR | Test Video

Did you know the Pocket 3 Can film in HLG? Whilst most people think this is simply a log mode, it's much more than that. HLG enables you to produce and edit HDR videos if you know how.

Wow these shots and the color is AMAZING! I just ordered mine and have been binging videos with footage and your by far looks the best. I use premiere pro and post homesteading videos every now and then and would love to know the settings and steps to get my footage to look this vibrant. Absolutely beautiful and the stain glass in that church, holy crap lol. Great job!

Thanks so you need to record in HLG on the Pocket 3, but also create a wide colour gamut timeline within Final Cut Pro. (If you use Capcut it actually does this for you automatically!)

Hey just select it as the picture profile HLG) however only film in this if you are editing and exporting an HDR project

I like it! It could just be me, but it seems the color pops a bit more when filming in HLG - post color grading of course. Excellent footage none the less!

It's 2024. Basically EVERY phone has an HDR capable screen, not just iPhones with their Samsung made displays 🤦🏾‍♂️
