First Look at Tormach's new PathPilot CNC Controller!

Here's a first look video at Tormach's new PathPilot CNC Controller! This will replace Mach3 as Tormach's main controller for their PCNC CNC milling machines. It is also the controlling already in use on the Slant-Pro CNC slant bed lathe.
I've had a chance to use the controller over the past month and it's been great. If you're asking "why would I care about a new controller" - it's a great question and one that I asked Tormach. The answer is clear: PathPilot let's Tormach be even more response and "in control" of the controller's development and it's very important role in reliable, capable machining. Mach3 is great (yes, I like it - even if many folks love to hate it) but Mach3 has it's bugs, it's limitations, and, most importantly, third parties like Tormach are limited in how much they can control and fix Mach3 bugs since it's not their software!
Tormach is releasing their own information and webinars on PathPilot; a few of the features that are exciting and I think folks will really appreciate (above and beyond improved reliability) are things like proper soft limits, functional cutter comp, and some GREAT conversational programming!
