You're very welcome!
where you get that shift boot from ?
What shift boot is that? That’s sic
Hey man great video! Quick question. I forgot to lubricate mine when I put it all in, did you use the plastic sleeve around the shifter shaft? Or did you not have to use that? I have a Cobb short shifter and I bought this at the same time and installed them both, but the plastic piece seems to get snagged really badly and I’m wondering if it even needs to be there in the first place.
It’s the piece that sits between the shaft of the shifter and the cobb reverse lock out. I feel like I’m describing the plastic bit poorly, I hope you know what I’m referring to.
Thank you
You're welcome!
My 2017 wrx lockout ring gets really hard to move in cold weather but returns to normal springy operation after 15min of running. You think is replacement would be a remedy ? You run into a similar issue with the stock lockout ?
I can't say I have dealt with a similar issue, but from your description, it sounds like weather is playing a part on your functionality. Which is strange to say, but hypothetically speaking if it was the case, I don't think replacing with resolve your issue.
Does this reverse lockout fit on a wrx as well as an STI
Yes, it does.
Where’d you get all that carbon fiber trim?
Burnz Auto / Subispeed
Idk why but mine doesnt have the hole to get it off anywhere
Get what off? The pin?
