I have been to chongqing, and villages nearby with my wife, they are very welcoming, also it felt like China has taken all the houses and built high rises so people live in apartments ground floor is shops. but that eliminated the scattered houses. I have been to highest point in Chongqing and that city feels like its endless, I feel bad I am not able to go there this spring festival with my wife and kids.
