Sorry to ask this question here but I could not find an email address for you. Hypothetical question. If a person, me, was interested in getting back into RC cars/trucks, what would be your recommendation for either? Parameters: I like to assemble kits, I love glow engines, but perhaps not necessary, must not break the bank. I no longer have a surface transmitter, pistol grip style. Are there all in one packages that you would recommend? I am familiar with HPI, Mugen, Traxxas, Team Associated, XTM brands. I have owned them all except Mugen in the past. I am looking for a decent ball park price to get me going again. You can visit my channel and on the About tab get my email address if you choose to respond to this query via email. Thank you for your response! I do not do Facebook. Never have, never will. I think for a low cost 'toe into the water' I will try the Redcat racing 1/10th Shockwave buggy. It fits my style and budget. I appreciate your response!!! Thank you.
David McIntire watch out for redcat low quality stuff you will brake it more than drive it it's up to you but the Traxxas Nitro Sport is a good little truck for cheap around $220 us and as a very good support from the factory and aftermarket easy to work on and quite fast with the aftermarket blue pipe kit a friend of mine has one and its pretty damn tough and they're quite reliable the biggest problem with the Redcat engines is air leaks and very poor quality bearings and machine work
David McIntire ebay a friend of mine just got one on there or you can call Traxxas directly and order it from them or your local hobby shop just a side note if I was you I would stay away from Traxxas fuel it's the worst thing you can ever put in your engine has so much oil that it makes your engine extremely hard to tune and it's just not a good running fuel I recommend Byron's 20% Nitro 12% oil that's what I like or S&W 20% Nitro 12 % oil Sidewinder 20% Nitro is also good
Ok thanks. Well I won't be buying something used for sure. I will also be using fuel that I already have from Morgan Fuel. I never used fuel specific to cars/trucks in the past. I have always used the same fuel I run in my airplane engines. The nitro and oil contents are comparable.

Your very welcome! It responds very well to exhaust work.
That's awesome info ! Love my firestorm! I'll look Into doing this, and damn I wish people still made good pipes!!
It definitely woke it up! And me to! The G3.0 is pretty powerful in such a light truck
why do people use zip ties on engine cooling head?
So when you flip your car upside down you don't scuff the cylinder head or break the fins

What did you use to port the exhaust ima try this an switch the spur to a 48t an the clutch bell too a 20/21
