A heartbreaking story David. Thank you for bringing attention to this tragedy. We don’t realize how some very old traditions and cultural beliefs still exist today and still practice violent rituals on its people. Bringing it out of the shadows and into light helps stop these abuses!
This is an interesting belief twins are beautiful and bring joy they need to abolish this perception but it will take time, These babies are beautiful and are a blessing but kudos to the man and his team for taking care of them
children are blessing from God and should be treated as such, it come from a lineage of generational twins currently my niece who is39years old is expecting twins and we are all excited especially my mother who is90years old and also gave birth to twins, keep up the good work pastor you are a blessing to these children you have earned your Angel wings❤❤❤❤

I have read about a similar custom among the natives of the Amazon. If I remember correctly, however, only one of the twins is killed. The reason is that breast milk is not enough for two and to breastfeed twins therefore leads to two completely unhappy people.

I guess its an Orphanage because when you say missionary, for us missionaries are people from the Western world who come to preach Jesus' doctrine its sad because these kids are vulnerable and may attract the wrong set of people. ( you know what I mean) I realize all over the continent have places like this for similar reasons
