Very impressve explanaton and analysis of Kevin Gilbert's poem SHAME! It is amazing to know that the Aborigines in Australia used 250-400 languages and the elders used 100 of these. The poem reveals the hurt of these indigenous tribes who face crippling diseases and their children die of poverty...the shame is not theirs but of their merciless White Colonizers who deny them the basic human rights.

Thank you Indira Ma'am for introducing this poem about the " indigenous " people of Australia...gives a totally new perspective to understanding their pain and suffering.
