The wife is controlling, but she also defied her father for him, she loves him and believes in him. She believes he can succeed just not in the profession he thinks. She also seems a sweeter person than his girlfriend. Also, compare the wife's reaction to the girlfriend's reaction to his heart pain. The wife seemed more worried about him. In contrast, the girlfriend totally thinks he is a total failure and that the only way for him to make lots of money is to kill the wife. She gave him an evil idea. The wife doesn't deserve the cheating, treason and hate he threw at her. He totally deserves what he got in the end. I mean how many rich women in the world choose a failure like him? The least he could do is help run the business so her heart can get some rest.
The girlfriend wants the tag "wife". This issue has led to murders....family partitions....sociological problems where even children begin thinking of an adult life.
How was the wife controlling? The man had not been working for the last five years. On top of that he was not only living off her, he also used her money to get into films and keep a mistress. She took his credit card away only because he kept spending money on alchohol and women
@@daphne3631 The wife obviously did not know about the mistress. If she did know about that, her behavior with him would totally understandable. In fact, it would be normal if she treated him much worse if she knew about that. She was lashing out at him for not having a job, not being successful. We don't know how hard he tried to succeed so she might be being harsh with him. She also wanted him to be in a career other than the career he feels better about being in (acting) so she's controlling that way push him out of the career he likes into the one she approves of. However in the end like I said she did defy her parents to be with him, she took care of him financially, she loved and cared about him, and tried to advise him regarding career. And its her money so if he was overspending its totally her right to restrict him. She loved him and he totally betrayed her and he drank his own medicine in the end!
@@pfceagle5163 She did not ask him to change his career because she wanted to control him. He had been struggling as an actor for FIVE years. Struggling is not wrong except he did not pull his weight in the house. He did not do anything to support himself. He used his wife's money to live a luxurious life. The least he could do was handle the family business especially when his wife was so sick. Also as his wife how would she not know if he put in any effort? She had believed in his dream when she married him five years ago. But it has been too long and he simply isn't ding anything himself. He keeps asking her for money to make his debut. I think these are reasons plenty for someone to lash out. And from what it seems, he really was not putting any effort given that in the movie either he was busy drinking or cheating or splurging his credit card. Even in his career he was looking for a cheap way out by bribing someone to launch him.
Yes she did not know that he had a mistress but she had a doubt from watching his activities.
She normally wants what a wife wants from her partner

Watching it after Chandirramani's claims of Shakun Batra copying his short film without giving the deserving credits. If this is true(I haven't watched Gehraiyaan), all I could do is hope you get the power and the privilege to take the movie's makers to court someday.😓

The wife acts like his boss here 🤣🤣 money can make everything different. Like they don't even act like husband and wife, a little romance could have added some realistic touch to that love marriage.
Coz she knew er husband is a womanizer thats why she behaved like that she loves him but at the same time she hates why coz he cheated on her many times

I was expecting a different ending to the movie. That it was a plan between the wife (who looked down upon the guy & knew that the guy has weak heart) and the GF (pushing more pressure on the guy for money & now saying that she is expecting). Thus creating a heart aching situation for the man, who consumed the poisoned meds. That should have been the perfect murder !!!
I’m sure it’s on a small budget and it shows but good camera work and editing, perfect casting I thought and acting was good too, great twist ending (although I hope the young woman doesn’t get the blame)

At 13:38 he made one of her pills poisonous thinking she will take it probably in coming 2 months & die. Then no one going to suspect him. But situation set a karma, he took that pill & died...So there is no murder in this story! But may be a suicide_by_chance !?😅

I guess there was no murder it was a pure accident...from the husbands point of view it could hv been a murder but from the wife's point she was helping him get back to normal...but as said destiny has its own way. The Gf would hv got the police.. wife would hv learnt whose call gave him a chest pain...Gf's disclosure made wife everything clear that the tab was laced with poison to kill her but accidentally she fed the same tab innocently to her husband...so she could be bailed free by law with Doctors help and GF's confession to kiil wife for money....Nice short n cut film.👌👌👌Great actors brilliant script& roll played...Enjoyed till the end..👍🎞
