- Jeff Beck's Blow By Blow album was what made me determined to become a serious musician. I loved this tune and always wanted to play it in bands, but no one ever wanted to do it. So finally, I decided to do it myself.
The instruments are pretty much the same as in all my videos. The lead guitar signal was split; one half went to the Boss Octave pedal and into the Line 6 POD, and the other half was recorded direct, re-octaved, and put through an Amplitube amp-simulator plug-in. The V-Drums were individually EQ'd and compressed.
Special thanks to Jonathan Herrera of Airship Laboratories, Richmond, CA, for consultation on an early mix. This was a tough one.
And by all means, you are a serious musician! playing every instrument with conviction and talent! You are one hell of a musician!! Thanks for the listen :)
Good Job Edward, totally enjoyed it! Peace
Great sound!
Lovely! Well done.
That's what I'm talking about! Nice work!
Nice! I remember this well and good job!
The bassline on this is so good, thanks for sharing, you did an amazing job (:
I love this~ Thank you for posting it. Well done and so sweet! Simply amazing...
Fantastic... Cheers from Seattle!
So cool!!!!
One of my band's covered this in the past and didn't play it this well, with 4 different people, let alone one. The repetitive groove of the bass line is a hand cramp, for sure.
Great job, Eddie!
Masterful!
Eargasmic!
Well, you don't just take on easy challenges, do you? Pretty darn cool, love this tune. The entire album is one of the greatest ever recorded. I bet you wish you had some real drums though.
I didn't know you were such a Jeff Beck fan! That was nicely done (in a covers way - if I'd paid to see Jeff Beck and he did it like that, I'd be understandably disappointed).
As an aside, I bought your Frustrated Songwriter's Handbook last year and took it away on holidays. Very interesting read, although I concede that I haven't applied any of it. I have, just now, taken it out of the bookcase with a view to revisiting it. Time will tell...
Thanks!
Oh man this is awesome!!!! I would have loved to play this one with you! Also can’t find anyone who is willing to play this song. It’s been a while since this was posted but if you are still reading this is it possible to obtain a backing track from what you made for guitar.
Greetings from the netherlands!
Yeah YAY!!!!! Your back man!!
This is like a dream come true for me, I so love all of your work.
It's totally amazing how talented you are bro. This is just epic!

Thank you!
No worries mate, you have no idea how much of a big fan of yours I am and have been for years of both your channels, I always share your vids and recommend people to your channels. You are an extremely talented person (-:
Needs more cowbell.
Do you have a chart for the keyboard part?
Oh man you should so try to do scatter brain!
It's too damn fast! I just don't have the technique for it. Also I could barely do the drums on this one, so I could never keep up on Scatterbrain.
noice
Do some Police bro. lol Good job man.
