- Amtrak Acela Train No. 2159 departing NY Penn Station
Amtrak HHPc test train No. 888 heading to Sunnyside Yard for the day. Rumor going around that it should be in revenue service within a few days. Glad to see these motors are being utilize once again. The unit no longer has pantographs or traction motors.

Love the sound of the Graham White E Bell! I could listen to it all day!
Sadly I missed the 888 train hippo when it left Philly to New York but I was at home when passed my area at Cornwells Heights! I'll be seeing it again soon
You should see the HHPc running along the NEC soon.

Are the new Acela trains operational yet?
Not yet! These are still in testing mode. Hopefully, by the end of the year or so.
