I bet you are absolutely talented enough to use it. If you can sew a seam, you can make an amazing Tula quilt.
Tula isn’t anymore expensive than any other fabric at the quilt shop. I have a bit of a hoard 😂 because I’m scared to cut it. But I’ve been working on some tote bags and my confidence is growing. I’m gonna cut some of it very soon!! ❤❤❤

I believe that first bag is the By Annie Got Your Back 2.1. This is such a beautiful collection. I can't wait to see it in person.....the colors look so vibrant! Looking forward to seeing what fun project you come up with.

They should drop the rainbow houndstooth in an apparel weight fabric as well. You can make clothes out of quilting cotton, but a lighter weight would give great drape with that print.
I would be draped head to toe in that houndstooth. I love it so much I did a little dance.

Love it, I just hope that it’s not thin like Everglow. My favorite EVER is nightshade Deja Vu. I look at my own cameo quilt and think “That quilt is stunning !!” I am not modest about my favorite quilt. Mac, I love your esthetic. I don’t do subtle fabrics, I just like fabric that pops. I do really like her William Morris influenced fabrics. In my opinion, too soon to debut a line, but it actually helps me save money when I know there’s a release that I’m saving up for. Rock on Mac 🎉 You’re killing it 🧵

I'm very excited for this collection. Initially I only saw the "color card" images and I was a bit underwhelmed. Seeing it all sewn together really helped me see the vision for this collection and definitely sparked my imagination. Not sure what I'm going to do with it but I'm hoping to talk my boss into getting a variety to make some fun quilt kits with!
I want to see the color card. I really wish they would just sell the color cards so I could collect them.
It is not a stretch to imagine her creating this line, I agree. I think if she had done a completely neutral color palate, or do a line of woodland animals in woodland colors (her style of course--just a new re-invented colorway) would be MORE unexpected. I would probably jump on that line. I do admire her artwork, but as much as I admire it, I just can't completely get onboard. I am kind of glad because I'd be totally frustrated if I DID love Tula then I'd be unable to afford it. I'm much more a fan of Kaffe, for sure, and do try to find his fabric at a discount.
It's sooooo not a stretch. I love some Kaffe too. I actually just love all things Free Spirit.
I think I will make my 1st quilt with this collection. M&L Fabrics, here I come. Does it drop in October?

I’ll add my extra opinion. There are already LOTS of shops online that are selling pre-orders of untamed( at full price to be paid for today.) There is absolutely no way that I’m paying in April for a fabric that would be shipped in October.

Also yes, it's beautiful. I think its nice to have something a bit more traditional that may combine with other collections. I have not loved the last few as much, looking forward to Roar in June though! I think Tula is a business genius. Wish I could pick her brain at a dinner party!

I bought the pattern for the bag/backpack on her left. Apparently it's actually a diaper bag with a changing pad pattern included.
