@@AlainHubert Hi I have a quick question for you about drum covers I have recently got myself a camera for recording my drum covers How do I get around copyright laws with RUclips I'm wanting to get a RUclips channel for my drum covers Playing on top of the songs that I have learnt
@@markmilligan5180 Quick answer: you can't get around copyright laws. If you publish a video that contains copyright material, you will get a notice from YT telling you so. Sometimes it will be removed, sometimes it will be blocked in some countries, and most of the time it will still be available to view but YT will put ads in it. It all depends on the wishes of the copyright holder. Be aware that if too many of your videos are taken down by YT because of copyright infringement resulting in the removal of the video, you might eventually be banned. But as you can see, I have many copyright videos dating back several years now, and only 2 or 3 were taken down over the years. Hope this helps! Take care!
OMG THAT WAS FREAKIN AMAZING!!!! - As a devoted fan of Jean-Michel Jarre's otherworldly and beautiful music for years, u've done something brilliant with acoustic live drums! - WOW Try doing one with Oxygene 4 or Hey Gagarin (on the Millennium Egypt concert of 2000, it was played with drums and it sounded rockin!)
Hace tiempo baje equinoxio 5 porq me encantó tu magistral interpretación ahora estoy escrito en tu canal para disfrutar de ese toque maestro q le das a la música en especial a la mechel jeam
I can't stop watching you play the drums. You're handle them in top speed. Faster than a fly. And it sounds great. Is this your profession cause it should be? Hope you've found a place to play drums outta your appartment? You are amazing!
Thank you very much, Pierre. I'm glad that you like what I do. This is only a hobby for me, I'm an industrial mechanic by trade. No place to play drums yet. Maybe soon ? Take care.
I'm sorry that you're angry, Danielle. It was certainly not my intention to make anyone angry with this video, or to desecrate Jean Michel Jarre's excellent work. I'm also a very big fan of Jean Michel. It was just an experiment to see if adding my drums to it could perhaps give it another flavour? I'm aware that not everyone will agree with the results, and that's understandable. But for the life of me, I cannot understand why would you have watched this video if you prefer the original work? Simply listen to, and enjoy this music from the original recordings then. Nonetheless, thank you for taking the time to let me know how you felt about it. Have a great day and stay safe Danielle.
@@AlainHubert I hope there aren't any hard feeling's about my comment. Like you, I'm a big fan of Jean - Michel's since 1978. But I admire your talent as a percussionist, as I am also a fan of drum's especially synthesizer drum's, I love the sound they make. Once again thank's for your reply. But on the other hand, I love watching you accomping Jean Michel on the drum's.
Absolutely great played and mega fat sounding toms! But the snare, omg, this sounds so poor rehearsal room style. It completely destroys the pure electronic sound of the "playback". And a bit too much played. I know it is very very hard for a talented drummer to play just on 2 and 4 with some very little ghost notes, but this here is overkill. So yeah it's nice, but it also shows why the original is pure electronic. Because it just sounds better.
You do realize that this was all improvised on the spur of the moment and more of experimentation and exploration than anything else ? So there are some things that I would have done differently if this was to be anything more serious. The snare sound and pattern is one of them, I agree with you that it's not some of my very best work. Too many rim shots. The original recording by Jean Michel Jarre has only a very basic four-on-the-floor kick drum with a static snare drum pattern. No drum fills. I wanted to inject some variety and life, with a Latin flavour to this beat. Perhaps a little too much, I agree. Anyway, thank you for your constructive criticism, with which I agree in part, and thank you for watching.
This IS the reason we need talanted drummers like you!
You malaka, now i will forever miss decent drumming in his tracks. Kudos. And thanks.
😆You're welcome!
You are such an Awesome drummer. You really do make each track you do sound even better than the original. I love your work.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy my playing!

Wow i liked this music already, but adding real drums makes the music more REAL :-)

Nothing is better than the original Jean -
Michel Jarre, not even a drum version.
