Guided by the vision of JRD Tata, Air India over decades built an astonishing collection of over 4,000 pieces that, besides supporting the artists themselves, were used to introduce India’s cultural heritage and artistic talent to the world. Many of these pieces graced Air India’s overseas ticket offices, giving visitors a view into Indian culture, a glimpse of Air India’s values, and a greater enticement to visit our home country.
