Yeah there are several sites you can buy them from. Generally it's suggested to find a warehouse close to you though because if you need to ship it to yourself you lose a lot of resale value.
You can't buy them from amazon, you have to find a liquidator to buy from. Try to find a local one to you and pick up your product in person because shipping costs will usually be more than the cost of the pallet.
Don't buy the hype. He sees a manifest list before he buys the pallets. directliquidation.com so he just watched until he found one with a few sets for a good price. After that it was fingers crossed that they were still sealed.
thegreatcerebral well that’s the way it is and yes you see a list but you don’t know what state there be in new used open broken so if it’s good stuff then it’s good.. this is not new news if you don’t like his way of doing things just don’t watch I happen to like watching as he does make it fun and he is funny when he gets nasty stuff lol and it’s interesting to see what you can get by doing liquidation stuff it’s all cool 😎
@@OnlyclaireJones Don't worry, I will not be. All the people that make videos like this implying that they had no idea they had legos coming (which he knowingly did, and not a "i knew this was coming, just didn't know the condition") or any other product then they are flat out lying to people and I stay away from their videos. Your comment echos his lying/misleading "bringing you legos" does not imply that you are simply saying that they are unopened/new. You may be affiliated with this guy for all I know; especially saying you watch his videos. And again it's not "interesting what you can get" considering you have a list of what you are buying when you buy it. That's like going to the grocery store and being surprised when you get home that you got some milk. Some places put baby and toys together. If you are that shallow to not understand these concepts then I feel sorry for anyone you have to deal with in your life because common sense escapes you. I really thought people didn't like the 40 to 50 minute videos so I have been trying to get them down in the 30 minute range. I might have been wrong...
I also prefer the longer videos. I personally use these to fall asleep to because your voice calms me, but having to click through multiple videos makes it hard.
THE CLUE STILL HAS THE STANARD SIZE BOARD IT IS JUST FOLDED INTO QUARTERS NOW INSTEAD OF HALF...THEY ARE DOING THAT TO ALOT OF THEIR GAMES TO SAVE SPACE.
Do you mind me asking where are you purchased the pallet from of toys? You seem to be having pretty good luck with that liquidation company. I would most definitely drive from Oklahoma to save on shipping if I can LOL. Btw thanks for putting these videos out I’m learning a lot from you and your sweet wife
I always wonder and worry about the new sealed items seems suspicious to me. Even though it is liquidated. Decent haul though can’t wait for part 2! I had a great 7.5 hour writing session too!
Don't be. It's how it works. Most of the stuff people get are through Amazon fulfillment. After all is said and done, the person probably recoups ~70% of the cost of the item and it's done. The manufacturer doesn't want it back and so now Amazon gets rid of it this way. I dealt with retail for years and you would not believe how all of it works. Just remember that the markup from manufacturer to wholesaler should be >50% (in reality more like 70%+, watch shark tank and you will see). Then Wholesale to retail is anywhere from 5% to 70% depending on the item. Things like Electronics have dropped greatly over the years however accessories have skyrocketed up. So when a toy sells for $40 retail you can say that it probably cost $10-$12 to make that item. After shipping both ways they would lose money to take it back so they generally just give the wholesaler back what they paid and take the small hit of a few units and they generally tell the wholesaler/retailer to destroy the product.
thegreatcerebral that makes sense. What’s really sad is how he loses out on customers worldwide cuz he won’t ship heavy things. Yeah, he’d lose money but he would be moving the product faster.
@@OreoBrewer yea but I understand the issue and honestly it's a personal decision. I think that a straight "no" isn't the right thing to do but instead do the research and figure out what a good "break even" point would be and start there. OR even better and what I've seen others do is use Paetreon and make that a requirement to be able to buy if overseas. that way it offsets some of the cost and you can still limit and for example say "at the $20/mo. tier I will ship one item to you that you buy" which also would mitigate the extra cost.
@@OreoBrewer But as a business you have protections against that. I'm not saying it's perfect but you have more ways as a business than you do as a consumer to get money owed to you.
That's awesome! I see these Lego set at Walmart often, you know. $100 would that be a good investment to buy and then store them for years? Even though it wouldn't be from liquidation I understand there different price range? Just a thought that these popular toys ranging upward $100 +. See you on Thursday.
Lego is a special thing. A lot of the value of lego sets are around unique bricks and minifigs in the sets. If it is a set you can build with normal lego off something like bricklink.com then you can just part it out much cheaper and build it. Lego purposefully does this with special bricks and minifigs because their goal is to sell units because there are a lot of people that will collect anything Harry Potter, or collect every MiniFig, or collect all the trains and so they try to hit all of those with each set. So IMHO I would keep the ship in a bottle and part out the batman. That unit is a timed piece and after the app no longer exists or doesn't support the new iOS version(s) OR if DC can't make a good Batman movie then the brand will lose traction. The bottle has many unique pieces and the design is timeless.
Sealed LEGO sets, I think I know what's going on with Amazon. Lego as of September of last year. Has asked Amazon to reduce the number of third-party sellers of their product on the platform as much as possible. This has led to some restrictions in the section of selling Lego sets on Amazon. because of this many sellers are just liquidating their stock of Lego sets that they have on Amazon instead of shipping them back to themselves. Because of shipping cost.
