Hey Everybody, I'm currently working on the Kingdom of Zeal and hoping to have that video out in the next couple of weeks. This map has been much more of a challenge and has required a lot more 3D modeling, but I think you all are going to love the outcome!
Excellent job recreating a 16bit scene from Chrono Trigger in Unreal Engine! I was 24 when I first played it and I'm thrilled that younger generations love it too. Looking forward to seeing what you create in UE5!
3d graphics will ruin the whole gameplay and the 16 bit graphics will always hold up more than 3d graphics. In 30 years the PS5's games will look shit. But the games from the SNES will look super colorful and amazing forever.
@@ASTR0TALKSPHILOSOPHY Not necessarily... What makes a game great and being remembered is not its graphics, but its story and ability to tell it to the player, both of which CT is great at. True, CT's graphics today look silly even when compared to those of indie games. But I do wish to see CT being relaunched with 3d graphics and other aestethic enhancements. And if in 30 years all this effort looks like trash, then just make it again, so the story can be retold every generation.
@@jorgefreitas5983 Well true graphics don't matter but jumping from a 2d to 3d game can greatly change the gameplay. Take mario 64 for example. It was a good game but it changed the gameplay because in a huge 3d environment for the better. you can't be restricted to just going over the flagpole in a linear format. Areas will feel way bigger and that kinda ruins the point when the game was 2D because it could ruin it. And yes those indie games look better because they have way more resources than a team in the 90's ever did.

I've seen the End of Time modeled in 3-D quite a bit over the years. I think you did exceptionally well in capturing the look. All the more impressive given the limitations of using a lot of pre-made assets. Modeling the fencing yourself was a good call.
This is amazing! I'd love to see to see a creation of 12000 BC! I even modeled a bit of it, as well as have some assets from others that I edited as well.
Very awesome! CT was a massive influence, when my friends and I made a game based off a comic my bro and I did. No time travel though, just travel to different planets. Worked hard to make it look more like Guilty Gear, PS1 lol. Working now on remaking both.

Unfortunately this is going to go the route of Chrono Resurrection :( Square Enix is not going to give up its rights to it now, especially since they are about to start adding Chrono Elements into KH4 (Long time fan on another account, about to drop a video next week you will probably like about Chrono / KH4. / MoM). I played it when it first came out... it reset the standard of what rpg's should be! FF VII owes everything to the Chrono Cross
