Gonna guess that they were acting in the sense that they rehearsed it a few times and had probably at least a couple of directors telling them how to walk/carry themselves and what kind of feeling to emote.
Not a single fashion show within the last 20+ years has brought the same amount of swagger and elegance than what those four incredible actors brought to the catwalk on that day.

That's why they find a role that fits with their acting style. For example, I don't really think Dafoe is anything like the green goblin in real life but his style of acting works well with certain villainous characters. There are plenty of actors who do just play themselves but I wouldn't disrespect Dafoe who has put in the effort to be a good actor imo.

Ironically i think he had a much better performance as an anti-hero playing Dr. Lightman in "Lie To Me" than in his major villain roles. Shame the show was canned after allegations against him that never were properly investigated.
Gary Oldmans swagger, sway, drip, facial expressions and badassery is frankly unrivaled. Personally he's in my top 10 greatest actors of ALL TIME past and present bar none. He can play anyone and is believable in everything he's ever put to screen. I'm lucky and grateful to say he's a fellow English man. He represents us very well across the world in both television and film and specifically he is very much appreciated in the untied states. Sir Gary Oldman is only a matter of time.

@@iiR34CTIONZz In "The Incredible Hulk" (2008), Planet of the Apes from 2001, Rob Roy, and some more he plays the villain. In general, he is one of the actors who can play the role of criminals or just any kind of bad guy very well. The Tarantino movies or "Made in Britain" also show it quite well.

Ironically i think he had a much better performance as an anti-hero playing Dr. Lightman in "Lie To Me" than in his major villain roles. Shame the show was canned after allegations against him that never were properly investigated.

Gary Oldmans swagger, sway, drip, facial expressions and badassery is frankly unrivaled. Personally he's in my top 10 greatest actors of ALL TIME past and present bar none. He can play anyone and is believable in everything he's ever put to screen. I'm lucky and grateful to say he's a fellow English man. He represents us very well across the world in both television and film and specifically he is very much appreciated in the untied states. Sir Gary Oldman is only a matter of time.
He's like a chameleon! He's such a good actor that it took me 30 something years of my life to realize he's the same guy in so many movies i've enjoyed. I also would've never guessed he's not American! BUT unfortunately he's been VERY underrated here in the States for most of his career, but only because he's that charismatic with acting!
