One can buy already sprouted dry corn from Tuesday market in Accra if you so wish. This makes it much easier. Some people are specialized in the preparation of only the sprouted corn for sale. You can always buy from them when you get late order.

We also have this drink in Nigeria, Badagry. A border town in Lagos. We call it adonyo glacė and it is flavoured with lemon grass. I havent seen this drink in any other place in Nigeria. It is sold in the market. Served extremely chilled. Emphasis on chilled. Its so refreshing especially on a hot market day. I honestly did not know it is this tedious to make. It reminds me of my childhood.
