- When the shop owner's sister, Rosalee (guest star Bree Turner), comes to town, Nick thinks he may have found a new ally in the creature world.
From Season 1 Episode 15 ‘Island of Dreams' - After the grisly murder of a familiar shop owner, Nick (David Giuntoli) joins forces with Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) to help solve the murder. Elsewhere, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) enlists Adalind (guest star Claire Coffee) to cast a spell on Hank (Russell Hornsby). Meanwhile, Sgt. Wu (Reggie Lee) unwittingly becomes entangled in Adalind's dastardly plan. Bitsie Tulloch also stars.

I remember hearing that the original plan for Rosalee was that she was only going to be in this one episode but the test audience liked her so much they decided to make her a more permanent member of the cast.

Imagine that from her perspective: Your brother gets murdered, you're already distraught over that, then suddenly you find out the lead detective is the boogey-man, but then he insists he needs your help to find your brother's killer and just walks away peacefully.

I always loved Nick and Rosalee's friendship, I thought it was a really great platonic relationship.

would of been interesting for more than platonic.
While watching this scene, Rosalie was s hurt and cold which was understandable cuz she is grieving. But never would I have thought she was gonna be one of Nick's bffs and honestly, it's realistic. Some friendship do start rough, but when authentic enough, can prosper. I think this is the reason why Grimm got so famous. It was a fantasy show but also SO so realistic and right amount of rough.
It’s always funny when Nick and Hank are working a Wessen case and the victim is Wessen and they realise Nick is a Grimm

I love Rosalee! Me, my mom and my sister are rewatching Grimm, and we are still at the beginning of season 1. I can't wait till she gets introduced! Plus I love Monroe and Rosalee, they are my favorite couple!

No sequel haven't you seen and heard? Portland's pretty much trashed. Besides I think they brought it to a nice closure.

Yes. Grimms were responsible for wiping out Wesen throughout the world and throughout history. In the past their only job was to hunt down and kill wesen. Just seeing a Grimm up close would freak out any Wesen ;) I love how they created this mythology around the Grimm.
My niece wanted me to watch this show with her on Prime. She’s really into Grimm books and wanted to share the first time experience with someone that likes sci-fi.
We pretty much binged on the series for a week last year.
I’m a sci-fi nut but more into space ships.
Turned out to be one of my favorite TV shows. This is saying a lot considering I don’t like what’s on TV nowadays. I haven’t owned or watch tv since 2001.
Seems I’m not alone about the Rosalee character. Glad she became a regular.
Actress is really cute to begin with but her character and the creature she changes into is adorable and scary at the same time.
Her introduction made this show the G.O.A.T (though ironically Rosalee is a fox Wesen not a Goat Wesen).

Sort of follows a pattern with Nick meeting his wesens friends. Thought Monroe was a suspect at first and now Rosalee with her brother's death. None of "Hi, I'm Nick, nice to meet u".
She was one of my favorite characters on the show

Rosalee has always been my top favorite characters along with Nick, Monroe, Adalind, Hank, Wu, Trubel and Bud

I love Rosalee and Monroe, they are my favorite two characters in the show. Nick and the other characters are good too but, I love them because of their strong bond to one another.
She was pregnant when they called her for the show, thats why she had to go take care of her Aunt. She was always going to be on the show. Adalind is the one that was only going to be on the one episode, they liked her so much she became a regular. So glad they did, she is a great actress. The online chemistry between Nick and her is Great
Rosalee is probably my favorite character in the end, and I loved her and Monroe. It's definitely time for a rewatch.

Rosalee was one of my two favorite characters. I’m no liberal or social justice warrior, but Rosalee and Monroe were really the next door neighbor characters of the show. The fact that they weren’t human had nothing to do with it. Loved both characters. Never could get my head wrapped around Juliet. Dumb damsel in distress and yet she made it thru vet school and literally works with animals. It made no sense.
I love Rosalee at the first time.

Bree Turner is a good actress her first appearance as Rosalee is memorable
Rosalee reacts surprisingly calm to a Grimm. She is such a strong badass.
She has to be given her past as a reformed criminal.
Hardest part of this series is trying to weed out whether Nick is a "nice" Grimm because he's a cop, or because he truly wants to help these people
I really enjoyed the show. I think they could bring it back and do a lot with it. Introduce new Wessen Bring back all the characters and maybe even evolve Nick. Make the witch doctors side effects on him cause him to evolve even more maybe into a grand Grimm. Maybe we would find out where Grimm come from. Maybe Grimm or actually just Wesson, Of a sorts, but they are the closest to humans and whatever created them evolve them to basically be a checks and balances between the human and Wessen world.
Of course the council could be reestablished and there could be a power struggle that affects Nick and his family. There’s just so much that can be done. Maybe Hank could find out that he’s from a grim bloodline and somehow the abilities are activated in him while Sergeant Wu And his condition becomes critical as he starts to become very ill and they have to find a way to stabilize him, not cure him. I mean there’s just so much that can be done.
Are we ever getting something new to this show?
This show ended on March 31, 2017. However there were plans for a spin-off series that never went through.
Plot was a female Grimm story with rumors of Trubel being it or the first ever Grimm, but that was it.
@@Achuidian179 unfortunate, I watched the show when it first released. Beginning to end and I'm rewatching it now. I was hoping for a spin off with monroe and Nick's kids and so on but it seems like the IP is at rest and with all the terrible reboots and "modernizing" of shows, I would like it to stay that way
