@@bad9851 It was told by Shri Krishna to Arjun before the war of Mahabharat. It was a conversation between them regarding the truth of life, the righteous path to lead a proper life.
The conversation was written in the form of book later for all the mankind to understand.
It consists of 700 Sanskrit shlokas.
I would recommend you to kindly read about the context and HISTORY of Mahabharat, Ramayan and Bhagwad Geeta, Shri Krishna ji before commenting without doing any research about it..

Also, you don't need to see God (well, God is not even a term in Sanatan Dharma. Definition of God and Parmatma are different"). You don't need to see Parmatma. Parmatma darshan means getting aware to the truth of life and recognising yourself in form of Aatma, itself is Parmatma Darshan.
In Geeta, WHICH WAS STATED BY SHRI KRISHNA, it says that Parmatma is prakriti. Meaning Parmatma is present in smallest of the smallest object in nature.
Aatma is part of Parmatma which resides in everything in nature. It can't be created, nor destroyed, It just keeps transforming itself from one form to another. These are words of Shri Krishna Ji stated in Geeta.
Btw, Parmatma,Aatma means energy which resides in everything in nature.
Geeta is definitely much more than I have written here. It can't be summarized in few words.
Geeta avashya Kisi Vidvaan vyakti ne batayi hai, aur voh hai Shri Krishna Ji.

Both these actors have done alot of movies together. ‘Hera Pheri’ is one of them and it is cult classic, also they have completely different role then this movie. ‘Welcome’ is another movie with both the actors and it is also hilarious. Akshay Kumar has best comic timing. Bhool Bhooliyaan 1 is also a great watch and is cult classic.

Actually PK came out 2 years After OMG ... and I would like to say that Pk has a similar theme as Omg and not the vise versa..(and yes I do know that OMG was a hindi adaptation of an australian movie).But off course PK is an Aamir khan movie so it reached a wider audience. But for us (or me atleast) this is the movie that left a mark and PK kept reminding me of it's similarities to OMG...

I realised that i was wrong, god is defined as the energy which cannot be destroyed and created in bhgawad geeta, i started reading ayurveda specially and get to know all the reasons behind rituals like why do we offer dahi on shiv linga and why tulsi is eaten first before any prasad for better intestine and every thing
Even why statues are made, everything is written
I am planning to read other vedas in upcoming years to know algorithm of life
Bhgwad geeta really helped to think out of box
Even i used to question so many things like what's the actual reason behind celebrating diwali and diya (oil used in it helps to replicate insects)
Calculation used in for making bell and vibrational energy used in shlok (om) like interference wavelength especially around the temple that's why all the temple made earlier are above the certain Height to observe all the vibrational energies and we are advised to wear gold for better observation
I always think that Hinduism is not the religion but philosophy which promoted so many good things like meditation and yoga which was brought by shiv ji and music and promoting vegetarian. I would say i researched properly

It's ok, I respect ur POV and I don't mean to disrespect any religion but I feel like God is just a hypothetical concept made by us and to back it up we've used logical reasons so that people believe in it... Like all the things u mentioned are logical reasons and traditions that were intentionally made and attached to God's name just to make people believe in it! Again, I feel like we humans need a god-like figure coz we don't wanna take charge of our actions... And the energy that God gives that everyone talks about is actually our aura... It's scientifically proven, every living and non-living thing in this universe has an aura of it's own and the aura of non-living things is influenced by the aura of living things like us humans... So even a stone can radiate positivity if you sit around it, not bcoz it's magical but bcoz it's aura is so positive as so many people put their faith in it... beleive in it with their aura's positivity... Even I go to temples not bcoz I wanna worship or I'm a believer, but bcoz you can't get such pure positive energies from anywhere else except these holy places... I go there just to sit and be in that positive atmosphere for a while, coz I don't have any options left... I don't blame any believer, it's their own choice and I don't disrespect any religion coz the first rule of atheism says... You have no right to disrespect anything just bcoz you don't believe in it

The scene where Akshay kumar says to that skinny guy that he is God but that guy just laughed it off has really a deep meaning to it. All the things related to Akshay kumar were already informations about him being krishna (a god), who wore golden cloth, used a flute, ate whute butter in childhood stealing it from people's houses (but because he was so loving and charming everyone still lived him), he used a disc weapon (called chakra, like he has the key chain) and yes he infact had 16000 wives. Although not all of them were super intentionally but still he had many wives. Also all the names are his names - krishna, govinda, gopal etc etc

This book is so divine that even Openheimer read this book to overcome the trauma of creating the atomic bomb that will destroy many lives.
I like the movie, but I don't like how they portrayed Hindu believers when he filed a case against God. No Hindu would harm anyone in this case because we believe in justice, and the person is following legal procedures even against God. Historical fact of such case is Buddha and Buddhism.
Buddha (original name: Siddhartha Gautama) born to a king lived his life without knowing sadness, suffering, or death. Because his father hid this from him but finally when saw the reality it broke him and he started his journey towards enlightenment
But when he gave his learnings to others as teachings he gave a different way to see reality in return they made Siddhartha Gautama as Buddha (godly figure) and his teachings Buddhism.
End result they didn't spread his knowledge to the world but added another religion headcount.

1. PK was a good movie but it lowkey disrespected a particular religion so it went on bad side of many people. This movie kinda questions the god but the same time shows that if you're right, then God himself will stand by your side so this is everyone's all time favourite than PK.
2. It is believed that there are 33 Crore 'deities' in hindu religion.
3. There's a holy trinity in Hindu religion named, Brahma-the Creator, Vishnu-the Preserver and Shiva-the Destroyer.
4. Akshay Kumar is playing the tole of Krishna. Krishna is said to be the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu.
5. Krishna had 16,108 queens which he had saved from a demon and and made them his queens to save their dignity.
6. There's a whole lot to speak about Krishna and Gods in Hindu religion that cannot be covered in this comment. I suggest to watch videos by "TRS clips" to know more about this subject.

These 33 types include 8 Vasus(elements of earth) + 11 Rudras(different forms of a god named Rudra/Shiva) + 12 Adityas(12 sons of Goddess Aditi) + Indra(the king of devas, i.e.,god like deities) + Prajapati(also known as Bramha, the creator of the universe).

Nice reaction btw i want to highlight something about pouring milk on shivling the stone that was talking about in the movie. It has some scientific reasons.
If you see the shape of the Shiva lingam, you can easily notice that it is pretty much identical to a modern-day atomic reactor.
There is a deep and traditional science behind the construction of a Shivling. It is made in a way that relases postive vibrations and are also used for concentration [meditation]. You shall find it fascinating that the design of the Bhabha Atomic Reactor also looks like a Shivling you can search images of it. Along with the milk, honey and water is also poured on the Shivalingam possesses the form of a remedy with the togetherness of the river and flowing water.
With all due respect the wastages of milk that was shown in the movie was not fully real because after pouring, the milk is collected directly and are distributed among devotees and poor people as holy offerings as it doesn't go waste but there are few people who don't care about giving people milk which was highlighted in the movie which is great, but generally it is not the case. Some of the reasons for pouring milk first and then distributing are:
1.Shiv Linga Is Radioactive And To Protect The People from Radioactivity, Milk is Poured Over Shiv Ling.
2.During Monsoon, Cows Consume Many Bugs with Grass That Can Pollute The Milk and Make it Poisonous , Thus To Protect People Again, Milk Is Poured Over Shiv Ling.
Also most of the shivlings are made of stones which is need some kind of fat or oily substances to retain their integrity .This is one of the reason why it is essential to pour milk, honey etc periodically to avoid the stone from turning brittle and cracking down as it continous to help people giving them milk and also giving positive energy also there are many scientific reasons which facinates many of the researchers but it will be way to long some i point some reasons which which give you new way of looking at it.

A complete Shivling is iconic representation of the Brahmanda (ब्रमांड) (and not sexual organs, though it is understandable how that conclusion could be drawn).

And to be honest Puran against even touching milk or water poured on shivling I have no knowledge about it can you put some light on it? Because I really want to know if it's true or not because the temple I go we get that milk as panchamrit as offering.
And many temples nearby and outof station they follow the same and i have seen only 1 or 2 where it is wasted in my whole lifetime in compare to more than 15 temples. And it is known that during monsoon cows consume bugs with grass that can pollute the milk and make it poisonous so milk Is poured over shiv ling as you know that during savan it is said not to eat nonveg because it has reasons to it same in savan cow eats anything which is not good for her resulting in bad milk quality and sometime posinous so to tackle such problem milk are offered more in sawan to purify such things by the lord who drank the poison.
However I know that shivling when made up of mercury milk or any other substances is poured on it becomes poisonous so it is not consumed that's the scientific reason behind it so the limited knowledge I have I know that other than mercury we can take as parsadam / panchamrit.
But there are lot of conditions tho depend upon temple to temple their vibration , energy etc. And please tell me more about that puran thing you were talking about if I'm wrong I want to correct that mistake fs because I don't want to follow wrong things the reason I'm following is i have never ever seen someone told me such thing as you and I'm for it you can tell me. 🙏🏼
@@kvm6 Also about radioactive I agree that many things are radioactive but if you pick up India's radio activity map, you will be surprised. Apart from the nuclear reactor of the government of India, the highest radiation is found in the places of all Jyotirlingas.
Shivling is nothing but nuclear reactors, that's why they are offered water, so that they may remain calm.
All the favorite substances of Mahadev such as Bilv Patra, Aakamad, Dhatura, Gudhal etc. are all nuclear energy soaking.
The water offered on Shivlinga takes the form of medicine along with the flowing water of he river.Some extra info that you should know that there are such important Shiva temples in India which are built in the same straight line from Kedarnath to Rameshwaram. 2) The FIRE is represented in Thiruvannamalai.
3) The WIND is represented in Kalahasti.
4) EARTH is represented in Kanchipuram.
4) SPACE or SKY is represented in Chidambaram temple.
These temples are also specialized in geographically. These five temples were built according to Yoga Science, and are placed in a certain geographical alignment with each other. There must be some science behind this that will affect the human body what do you think?
These temples were constructed about five thousand years ago when there was no satellite technology available to measure the latitude and longitude of those places. Then how so accurately five temples were installed? Only God knows the answer.
The distance between Kedarnath and Rameshwaram is 2383 km. But all these temples are almost in the same parallel line. After all, thousands of years ago, using which technique these temples were built in parallel line, this is still a mystery.
The twinkling lamp at Srikalhasti temple shows that it is air element.The water spring in the interior plateau of the Thiruvanikka temple shows that it is a water element. And not just small temples I also visited Kashi vishwanath and babulnath.
@@escanor4881 with all due respect I may be ignorant but the place i live and almost all temple I have visited the milk is distributed as panchamrit as you said there is also mixture of honey but it's common sense when oil is poured over shivling first it has to be washed by water several time so it removes it to some extent and then afterwards milk with or without honey and other things to make panchamrit is made and distributed may be I'm ignorant because I have not visited all over India.
