It's nearly 2023 and you're saving my college course credit, thank you bro!
Happy to help!
Thank you very much. Great demo, well explained and easy to understand how to configure the certificates. Your efforts will help a lot users trying to understand how this process works.
You are the man......these tutorials are so helpful.
Glad you like them!
Very well explained and demonstrated. Thank you.
Very good video
While setting automatic computer certificate enrollment in the earlier video, you also added the template under "automatic certificate request setting" but in this video, you didn't. How will the GPO use the newly created MYLABusers template?
05:54 It shows "Enroll subject without requiring any user input"
thanks for the tutorial!
is this the same setting when you need to implement a CBA on exchange server?
thanks
Thanks for the demo. Could you please display steps taken over a separate dashboard while not making any configuration changes that will help viewers stay connected and remember what is the next step. For example .. You talked about 3 sections/steps in first 1:30 minutes. It would be great if that was displayed on a white dashboard while you were talking. Thanks.
Great suggestion. Will surely do more new video. Thank You.
Hello, very helpful video, but why does the 'private key' need to be marked as exportable on the template. Why would the user need to export the private key from their workstation. I am thinking a hacker could then also export their private key. please clarify, thanks
Hello, is templates modification, and verison 2 and 3 templates are available in windows 2019 standard edition server?
What would be the purpose of issuing user certificates?
So we created a new cert template. How do you assign the new cert template to a GPO so the GPO issues the new Cert template and not the standard user cert template?
For that you can use Superseding certificate template option to deploy new custom certificate template instead of older one.
This setting is available in the properties of New custom certificate template.
I am see multiples Certs issued to same users and PC. Is this normal?
ok
