*Volbeat? :D Great. I highly recommend from the new album the song "Pelvis On Fire". From previous albums I would suggest "Radio Girl", "The Garden's Tale", "We", "The Bliss". From Slipknot's new album I would highly recommend "Nero Forte", "Spiders", "Red Flag", "Critical Darling" beside the 3 previously released songs. Furthermore I would suggest to check out the finnish Skull Rock Band "The 69 Eyes" a.k.a the "Helsinki Vampires". Their new album "West End" will be released on [Friday] the 13th September 2019. I have many of their songs in my RUclips-playlists.*
Sure thing. The Satanist is a masterpiece of an album. One of the things that really drew me to Behemoth is Nergal's (Adam Darski) understanding of the Occult, Symbolism and Left Hand Path Magickal systems. He has a lot of references or outright odes to Thelema in his songs, also Nergal wrote this album as an F-You to the Christians who thought he was going to convert to Christianity after he was diagnosed with Leukemia. One last thing you may not own the album but if you do look at the front cover of The Satanist album. What do you see when you look at it? Cheers you two and keep doing what you do!
Behemoth - Ora pro nobis Lucifer, lyrics and meaning are awesome!!!
Juliette 2019: "It just sounds like angry satan music to me!"
*I love her statement. Imho, it simply cannot be described better than that.*
@@NicholasCorvin i mean, after the intro on evangelion, all behemoth sounds pretty chill tbh. My girlfriend says she finds nergal's growl relaxing.
@@matthewgodding777 behemoth is extremely relaxing. Very drone sounding sometimes. This song anyway
Excellent.👍. Amorphis - The Bee 😊
So much this, Amorphis is amazing.
Amorphis - Amongst Stars ft. Anneke Van Giersbergen (Official video). 🤘
A very chill song from behemoth 😂
Behemoth- Bartzabel
You’ll love it!
Behemoth has got a lot of depth to their lyrics and a lot of references to certain books.
Tribulation - Melancholia
Amon Amarth - Twilight of the thunder god
GREAT to see young people listening to metal (or good music without auto tune or robots)
Awesome. Not a bad choice for a first Behemoth song. I personally enjoy Blow your trumpet Gabriel more. Definitely check that out when you get a chance. Either way, I am glad to finally see a Behemoth video here.
That is a good choice. I also suggest "Ov Fire and the Void" and "At the Left Hand Ov God".
They are actually classified as blackened death metal
but now they´re just go softer, I feel like they are approaching to prog metal
No it's just blackened metal
Kind of like blackened salmon...
@@KidsJavo2088 they will come up with heavy shit again.
@@KidsJavo2088 behemoth prog metal wow u crazy
I just love Nergal...Such a great frontman, true icon...
If you want to hear "clean vocals" from Behemoth, Bartzabel, which is off the "I Love You At Your Darkness" Album. It's the invocation of the Planet God of Mars in a song, if you watch the official video you will ever see objects from the real Ritual such as the Black Mirror.
They are a three piece and they have a session/live member who is technically a 4th member just not officially. He's been there since 2004.
Behemoth is a killer live band! I saw them several times, they are great
Behemoth is one of the best black/death metal bands of all time! If you guys found this interesting, Ora Pro Nobis Lucifer and The Satanist are also great!
Also Ben Sahar is excellent as well 🤘🏻
Blackened death metal*
finally band from Poland :) \m/
Akephalos
Shine through me
Come forth in war
Come forth in peace
Bring down the sun
Extinguish all the stars
Let me remain in splendor of thy light
Bornless one
As darkness bright
Found not in tongues
Found not in light
Bring down the rain
Drain waters of Styx
Faustian luminary
Redeem blaspheme
Like a day without the dawn
Like a ray void of the sun
Like a storm that brings no calm
I'm most complete yet so undone
Agathos Daimon of plague and fever
Thy name is nowhere, thy name is never
Liberate me
Ignite the seeds
Bind not to guilt
Ignis Gehennalis
Oh father, oh satan, oh sun
Let the children come to thee
Behold the morning star
Akephalos
Shine through me
Come forth in war
Come forth in peace
Like a day without the dawn
Like a ray void of the sun
Like a storm that brings no calm
I'm most complete yet so undone
O Lion-Serpent Sun, the beast that whirlest forth
A thunder-bolt, begetter of life
Thou that flowest, thou that goest
Thou Satan-Sun, Hadith, that goest without will
Thou air, breath, spirit, thou without bound or bond
Thou essence, air swift-streaming, elasticity
Thou wanderer, father of all
Thou wanderer, spirit of all
"I like that they're evil" awwwww
Thanks for watching everyone and apologies for sleeping right through the premiere! Let’s get some suggestions for Volbeat!
Seal the deal
Volbeat - Room 24, with legendary Danish metal icon - Kind Diamond on the vocals!!! Unfortunately I am shure that it won't be on their set list:(
My favorite track from The Satanist! You should try now Bartzabel from their latest album I Loved You at Your Darkest. Keep on rocking guys, greetings from Brazil!
Satanic doesn't necessarily mean angry. Matter-of-factly, if you look into the Bible, there is A lotta killing and suffering there to begin with
enerpro No doubt.
Satanism is generally the opposite of violent, it's actually pretty positive revolving around compassion. Most Satanist are LaVeyan, which people think it's all sacrificing goats and shit.
There is death and suffering everywhere . What most people think of as the case against God is, "well if He's so good why does evil and sin exist." Well, my friends, I'll tell you it's because we humans created sin. Let me tell you that He is coming back to make things right.
Ray Bradley you can keep your god we don’t need him
@@raybradley1408 he better not come back, I like my chaos and my dark corner
Juliette's metal voice actually wasn't bad 😂 nice distortion
Hey Juliette! What are some the hip hop artists do you like? Also, you and dad should do a hip hop reaction. I wanna see his face when he hears the music you like. --- Love that channel you two. Keep it up!!!
Lisa Johnson Juliette’s favorite is Travis Scott. She also likes Migos, Drake, etc. and yes, it’s in our near-future plans to do hip-hop!
Sorry for the horrible grammar lolol I should double check before I post 🙄
Do some k-dot (Kendrick Lamar)
one of the Best of Behemoth ! Love this song ...
Thank you for opening the doors to new music for me. I haven't heard of them before, so in a way you are schooling me too 😁 I am glad to see that you guys are listening to this type of music together. I remember when I was a teenager I had to show to my father and the rest of the family the beautiful world of metal since they are disco and soul kids. Thank you for your videos 😊
Bellatrix SrTiO3 so happy you get to discover new artists on our channel! And so rare to see someone named Strontium titanate!
@@ChemicalReactions hahaha 😂 I love that gemstone so that is why I added it to the nickname 😊And now when I think of it it fits in the ChemicalReactions world perfectly 😊
Hi guys, love your channel! My "go to" channel which has introduced me to some great new stuff !
Juliette is an intelligent , well informed and confident young lady . You guys make a great team.
Best from Nottingham U.K. Dave - Chem squad !
d smith Thank you! You’re the reason why we do this!
Wintersun - Eternal Darkness!
Great reaction guys.
You need to react to some Architects!!
They’re death metal vocals.
Their stage backing was 3 upside down crosses with an American flag that instead of stars it was upside down crosses. I personally dont care for them but that's me. Volbeat was a lot of fun though.
The Track, ‘O Father O Satan O Sun!,’ on Behemoth’s new album, The Satanist, features lyrics culled from Aleister Crowley’s commentary on Liber Samekh, the ritual for the attainment of Knowledge and Conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel.
This song is basically a prayer In Itself
Finally you reached the DARK Side of Metal.Behemoth from Poland (formed 1991) are absolute Amazing. And especially This Song/This Lyrics ( Adam Darski, better known as Nergal,is a true Legend. But you need a lot of Background Information to understand the deeper meaning of his writing) and This Video. An absolute Masterpiece! SEPTIC FLESH and ROTTING CHRIST from Greece please! Hail Satan !
Ingo von der Lühe dude rotting Christ sucks lol. I walked out on them during a Belphegor and Behemoth concert.
@@luiswiley372 Just a personal Reaction.Doesnt mean anything about their musical Quality. Studio Versions almost never reach the same Quality Live.I also saw them Live and it was fantastic.Maybe you were at the wrong Concert with the wrong technician on the Mixing Board.....
@@ingovonderluhe2174 I know tons of bands that were just as good or better live. Japan, Pink Floyd, Yes, DMB, Rhapsody Of Fire and Rush. You'd be surprised how easy it is for people who have actual talent and who know what they're doing.
@@DonHaka What the fuck does these Bands have to do with Black Metal Bands?Wrong Answer. We are NOT talking about Rock Bands in General.....
Reached the dark side of Metal?!?!? With Behemoth??? I don't think so.
IMO you reached the dark side of Metal when you listen and APPRECIATE bands like Mgla, Kriegsmaschine, Deathspell Omega, Akhlys and so on .You can clearly see throughout the entire song the girl was unimpressed i don't see her on the dark side of metal very soon
Therapy? - a moment of clarity
I'm going to see the Knotfest Roadshow too! Can't wait. Finally going to see Gojira! The other bands are a nice bonus too. Behemoth was badass when I saw them as support for slayer.
Originally Behemoths sound was a mixture of Nile and morbid angel but since their album the satanist they have really come into their own with their sound.
Yeeeeees!!
Some blackened death metal!!
It can't be "Gojira vibes" if it's older than Gojira, and then by a good five years.
This is the one I was waiting for!!!! Try Bartzabel, a really good song of Behemoth.
I'm new to the channel and I'm enjoying your guys reactions to all these different bands. I've got a good request for you guys. The song is 'Nothing was the same' by a band named Hotel books.
I would like to see what you think of Versailles - Faith and decision, it's always interesting to see what people classify them as.
And also it's a a song that really portray the topic of the song even if you might not understand the lyrics.
Blind Guardian Live at Wacken - The Bards Song / Valhalla
Hey my birthday is coming up on the 22nd and it would mean alot if on you're next RTKF video you did my favorite slipknot song before i forget
Every once in a while when I don't want to go to sleep yet I'll look up a reaction to Devin Townsend, because it always delights me to see people enjoying him for the first time, to relive that sense of wonder. Only you guys are doing such a good job I binge watched most of the videos on your channel and didn't go to sleep until half past one. For what that is worth, great job!
My recommendations for other songs to take into consideration (official videos except where otherwise noted) in order of "must-hear-ness": "GLORYHAMMER - Rise Of The Chaos Wizards", "Madder Mortem - Necropol Lit" (original Deadlands studio version, no official video), "THE AGONIST - Gates Of Horn And Ivory", "Bloodywood - Jee Veerey (ft. Raoul Kerr)", "SISTERS OF SUFFOCATION - Brutal Queen", "Chimaira - Year of the Snake", "Machine Head - Locust", "THE AGONIST - and Their Eulogies Sang Me to Sleep" (different singer than the previous The Agonist, same singer as the Arch Enemy - Nemesis video you watched), "In This Moment - The Fighter" (not a metal song even though they are a pretty heavy metal band), "Poisonblack - Rush", "KONTRUST - Sock 'n' Doll" (fair warning: this one's a bit out there ^^)
SHINE THROUGH ME
If you want a wall of sound, try Sunn O))).
A more serious recommendation, Sleep's album, The Sciences, was easily one of the best of the last year or so. Almost anything by them would be an excellent choice.
Edit: Some day I want to see someone react to Dopesmoker. All of it.
Artists: Children of bodom
Song: Are you Dead yet
Check them out🤘
Through the fire and flames by dragonforce
Chemical reactions 90..means Thorium. Highly reactive and electropositive radioactive metal.
Which knotfest are you going to? I'll be in Austin. If I could see you guys that would be awesome.
darth wute New Jersey on August 30th.
@@ChemicalReactions fun fact I've been sharing. Tool is the first ever band to hold spots 1-10 on the rock charts. Also the record for longest song in billboard top 100 history.
Just a hint - Adam Darski (Behemoth's leader) has another project: Me and that Man, cd released in 2017. Music and vocals are surprisingly different but lyrics remain as devious as hell ;) definitely worth listening and a really big surprise :)
🤘
I heard the Gojira vibes too sir
Some insomnium would be cool :)
While we sleep, down with the sund and black heart rebellion are my recommendations
Yes Volbeat!
Most Powerful Creature of Heroes of Might n Magic 3
Ya gotta check out the music video for Blow Your Trumpets Gabriel. Probably the censored version tho 😬
This band is awesome! I like almost all their records, they kick ass:) Check out Slaves Shall Serve by them and have yourself a fantastic evening!:)
I'm really surprised Juliette liked this one. Rock on 🤘🏼
Masterpiece ! The Satanist was one of the best records of this decade and this was the perfect way to end the journey
Mayhem - Freezing Moon
Back in the 90s they started out as a black metal band because of the Norwegian Black Metal scene.
I always feel like summoning a demon or holding some sort of dark ritual when I'm listening to Behemoth
Late suggestion but I feel like you have the school of metal/rock but there should be an oddball section especially for the weirder stuff that doesn't really fit in easily with other types of music. 🤘✌
Could you start doing some Folk/Pagan Metal?
Would be nice to see reactions to finnish band called Turmion kätilöt
How did you come up with the name ChemicalReactions?
robichj I was trained as a chemist. And it’s a funny pun...
It's blackened death metal
To from Warsaw
React to Mr. Bungle - Pink cigarette.
Been trying for Mr. Bungle myself 👍
You have to react to Powerwolfs We drink your blood or Demons are a girls best friend
Bartzabel reaction pls
Behemoth
Hm I can't tell if this song is dragging me under or launching me into space...either way kickass!
"The trops we fall into: He goes for Satan, i go for drugs"
Whut?!?😂😂😂😂😂😂
So, cannibal corpses next?
one father to another (one who is a metal head as well) you gotta be careful because there is truly a fine line between heavy metal and satan worship. i dont worship satan but i would listen as a challenge which i probably shouldn't haha
Truthseeker882 I don’t see Behemoth as Satan worshippers. I would be surprised if they were devout Catholics but I don’t think they worship Satan either.
@@ChemicalReactions Most of these bands are atheists with an anti-religious streak. This is often their way of criticizing religion. I don't remember if this is the case with Nergal however...
@@ChemicalReactions Weirdly enough, a lot more metal musicians are Christian/religious in general than most people would assume! Yes, even the so-called Satanic Black Metal bands 😂 A lot of us see the music itself as a form of "church" which is, I think, how it is intended to be
With that said, there are bands and musicians that use religion as a "gimmick" - personally, I am not a fan and think doing that cheapens the theatrical aspect and storytelling a lot. You don't *have* to write about Satanism and Paganism outright to be "heavy" or have tell dark stories - the Blues proves that
@ChemicalReactions! Hey no disrespect but looking at the lyrics its really clear. First the song name is 100% from the bible where Satan is substituted for God the Father and the Son. The names Akephalos, Agathos Daimon, and Ignis Gehennalis are also extremely dangerous to even speak, at least from a former satanists perspective. To speak those things or let them into your life is to invite a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, even the strongest catholics can be overcome. They will come as angels of light.
Gonna subscribe. Please do Silencer - Sterile Nails and Thunderbowels or I Shall Lead, You Shall Follow
If it was dark ages, they would have burned at the stake! 😜🤘
You need to react to some Volbeat since they're going to be there too. I suggest this as a start: ruclips.net/video/sZP-O3liXMY/видео.html I think Juliette will love it.
Slayer, south of heaven.
Juliet still hasn't found her band or song.
Check out Metal Church Anthem To The Estranged 🤘

Not to be confused with Sunn O))) Black Wedding.
I could never get into Behemoth. Just haven't grabbed me.
I am with those recommending Amorphis. Them, and Dark Tranquillity!
Dark Tranquillity are superb
I "tolerated" them at first when friends would play it...but I've grown to like them for myself.
next band from Poland please... KAT
Mgla
HATE! Walk Through Fire...
After you guys get done with knotfest I highly recommend introducing Joliet to Type O Negative.
"I Don't Wanna Be Me" is a good starting point for Type O
Feelament - Great Tragedy
Amorphis - the Bee 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
You really should watch the video
You need context of the environment that produced Behemoth, to understand
New subscriber Here. Love your channel. Keep it up. Can you please react to Arch Enemy - My Apocalypse. Won’t be disappointed 🤘🤘
React to Steel Panther - Always Gonna Be A Ho :D
Denzi / Ekipa I have to check these guys out. They’re new but supposedly pretty fun.
Exorcise the demons... this house is clear...
I must have mild OCD, the positioning on screen kept bugging me. Chuck was hanging on the edge of the screen. :-)
tell me when you're ready for Horna
Oh Father Oh Satan Oh Sun
Let the Children come to Thee
Melek Taus
Shine through me
