    Before it started I was hoping you guys would go down the north face, but since it is almost vertical it wouldn't have lasted very long, but the Mittellegi ridge is a challenging climbing route in itself and much better and longer for the wingsuit too. Hey, thanks for sharing the video, it is crazy good!

    It'd the little cabin I've seen in other videos! First off, the fact that y'all are flying down a mountain from a helicopter is bad ass, but next coolest thing is that someone was even able to build that cabin, not only that high up, but on the peak of that mountain. How in the world did they ever get those supplies up there and THEN build a cabin on that ridge??? Don't know what blows my mind more lol!

      Hey Eric Talkington. Thanks. Flying to the top with the helicopter in a few minutes is not that hard, but i am happy i have this possibility🤩🤘. You are so true, this blows also my mind. The little cabin is the Mittellegi cabin built in 1924, really impressive.

      @@flying_jeronimojeromeschmi6942 hey, thanks for the info! They built that in 1924??? I'm even more impressed. They didn't have helicopters back then to fly their shit up there. That's even more impressive! Sorry, didn't mean to take away from how bad ass it is that you get to do wild shit like that! I want to do this so badly. I've been skydiving, only 7 times and they've all been tandem because I don't have the money to pay for the course and Skydive Chicago is so far away from me, just the gas alone would kill me. It's about an hour and a half roughly, one way. If I had a few grand to spend I'd camp out there for a week and get it all done, but my dog has had so many vet bills since I got her that I just can't afford it. Though my dog is my kid and I'd do anything for her so I'm not complaining. I would love to do that though. Base jumping off a mountain and flying a wingsuit looks awesome enough, but to get to start above the mountain and swoop down to it looks like even more fun. Hope you get to go many many times. Be safe up there and stay cool man!

      The glide ratio is up to 3:1. That will tell you how far you can go from a given altitude.

    A question from someone who thinks this is epic, yet will never do this himself BUT out of curiosity. Wingsuits do like a constant descent yea? Technically...could you apply some propelling engine of sorts and gain a constant height or even ascend ? sorta like a plane? or are the suits not designed at all for this to be possible?

    • @flying_jeronimojeromeschmi6942
      @flying_jeronimojeromeschmi6942  3 года назад +1

      Hey there. Yes more ore less constant descent, but depend the suit or angle you fly what glide ratio you get. In this flight i could go much further but wanted to fly this line. There are already some Wingsuiters flying with turbine but i would be defenitely in if someone makes me this offer.
      And yes eaven without engine i can ascend for a short time.

      Hey Bro. Really appreciate the reply!
      That is actually really neat then. Always thought that you would only ever be able to descend at all times.
      If it becomes waaaaay safer I would give it a go but as it is now, I would die of a heart attack before landing :D
      Since I have your attention for a second...Ty for your content. Been really informative for someone dragged by, by the youtube algorhytm. Keep it up! And don't die!
