That one character whom I cry for, he carried him in fire of hell, protected him and shield him with his wing, kept him safe, nurse him , he saw his rage, that same fire that he supposed to die in, the same flame of hatred and hungry for revenge, he guide him to redemption (and even in dlc story show him that humanity is worth keeping) the same light and good man he is, not an criminal nor an mob boss. Just an lonely man in big dark world, By giving him the final option which to leave the town, We all know it’s Lincoln the last and final chance to redemption. When he cried I just couldn’t hold my tears, seen him not only lost a friend but his own son to awful world where he don’t belong to.
No matter what people say about the game, the theme tune is excellent, capturing the blues-y feel of New Orleans, and encapsulating the sadness of those who have lost everything within it all at the same time.
I also love how the developers based this city setting off the New Orleans area (an area I'm familiar with ) even today that town is still rough and tough.
Sometimes things you see you never forget war trauma it’s something you must respect the people who have to sleep with that experience a US troop shot a German kid cause he was near the barricade he cried every night since then till he died
Not sure why so many dislike this game. I love it (just behind Mafia II and of course the fist game) but they added so many cool side optional missions for underbosses as well as favors for them and such. Plus not to mention the free roam. The downsides are yeah repetitive, at times major bugs (such as game crashes) lost data. Still I enjoyed this one 👍
There's something just beautiful, yet as well, something tragic, about this song. It feels as if it tells a story. A story about tragic, something deviating.. Something that is Truly depressing.
The music, the picture...It really tells the story well. The pain, not only of Lincoln himself as a character in the game and what he's been through and how much he's lost but, also that time period, what people, specially black people have suffered. If you really stop to listen to this and think about what happened, which is partly shown in the game, how many innocent people died... How can a person be so racist that they go as far as killing another person because they are not the same color? Fucked up world.
Don't forget about how they treated Vietnam Vets. They never got a welcome home, some were kids didn't even know what they were walking in too yet too come home and to not understand why they were so hated. Shit world i say, very shit world.

This song is different. When you start to listen to this it's like the song trying to tell you a sad story. loves this song and enjoyed the game too. it was buggy but the story worth every second (and i'm a metal and rock head)

From the instrumentation point of view it starts off sad and after a bit, the sound that plays when you enter a hostile zone accompanies the guitar sound. Its as if the music is speaking but to understand what the elements of it mean you have to play the game. The art of music of Mafia 3 is something else that many people overlook...

They should remake this game with better mission design, better graphics and better optimization. Mafia games always have good stories, thats the main selling point of Mafia, and this had a good story. It deserves a ground up remake.
