  • We all know by now that curly and kinky hair are naturally drier than straight hair, and shampoos that lather and suds only damage them. So how do you wash it without drying it out? Texture guru and Hair Rules founder Dickey came up with No Suds Cleansing Cream, perhaps the most essential product for all hair textures, but most especially for natural hair. Not only does it cleanses and detangles natural hair safely and effortlessly, Cleansing Cream also provides additional moisture and ultimately reveals your natural curl pattern with softness like never before.
    It's the perfect preparation for styling. If you wear your hair natural, immediately apply your styling product after conditioning, and with frequent use, you’ll see a marked difference in the health and definition of your hair. Many have turned their backs on chemical straighteners because they can now show the texture that they were born with. If you employ heat styling to wear it straight, whether on a regular basis or simply to mix it up, No Suds Cleansing Cream not only keeps your hair’s natural protection, it also builds on it. With proper conditioning, you no longer have to worry about heat damage. As Dickey often says, heat does not damage hair-people do!

    Mr. Dickey's method makes a lot of sense because kinky (Afro) hair is naturally dry, hence the shrinkage. It's the opposite for naturally straighter textures (Caucasian/Asian) - they have higher moisture content and have to have oil and excess moisture washed out of the hair, whereas afro hair has to have moisture washed/conditioned into the hair (the inverse).

    Sorry. Can't hear you because I am mesmerized by her hair.😁❤️ I think cleansing creams are great to alternate between suds shampoos. I will never ever leave sulfate again.

    How does your No Suds shampoo compare to that Wen product from years ago?

    for daily wash and gos, are we starting with the quench conditioner? then using the no suds shampoo once/ week? When do we clarify?

    • @hairrules
      @hairrules  Год назад +12

      Yes, cowash with Quench conditioner and use No Suds Cleansing Cream once a week. Clarify once every three months with Aloe Grapefruit Purifying Shampoo.

      @hairrules Will the above process work for my dandruff/seborrheic 4b/c hair? If not, please give me your knowledge on how to help build a healthy scalp. I have been using medicated shampoo from the dermatologist (once a week), but it drys my hair out terribly!!! I use moisturizing deep conditioner after shampooing for 30 minutes (under hooded dryer), My scalp issue will not allow me to go pass 1 1/2 weeks before I have to shampoo again because it is so itchy. PLEASE help! Thank you for your time. LOVE your videos. They are VERY informative!!!!! 😊

    Unfortunately you guys don’t ship to Europe 😢 so could you suggest any other cream cleanser out there please? Thank you. Every shampoo I use makes my hair so matted even the ones that says conditioning shampoo, since I have very fine strands it ends up breaking when I’m detangling no matter how careful I am. I’m so tired of my hair it’s frustrating.

      Try to cowash daily with an excellent conditioner, and cleanse only once a week. See how that goes. Let us know.

    Do you only finger detangle curly, kinky textures?

    • @hairrules
      @hairrules  Год назад +1

      It's best to feel your strands so you don't put too much pressure on your hair and break it. If you're confident enough with your strength, then you can use a detangler.

      @@hairrules im not confident in the strength and think combs have been causing breakage. Do you have a video on the proper way to finger detangle?
