whoa - the tone of the trailer really took a turn when it started to look like a blood bath! TONS of actors associated with the Walking Dead appear in that cast list, including Steven Yeun you mentioned at the beginning. And if you haven't looked up JK Simmons yet, you'll instantly recognize him from.... EVERYTHING and being consistently great. He's best known for "Whiplash." Great work, as always!
Oh & to answer your question.... as a non-comic book movie fan (nothing against 'em, but they're not my 'go to'), I don't feel overwhelmed by them. There's so many ways to go out and find entertainment, that you can seek or avoid anything. If you were trying to be a Marvel or DC completionist, I'd imagine it would start to feel like a fully time job though.

I still have yet to see whiplash but, I will! So true about superhero movies and shows. I love them yet, it seems they are saturating everything with them.
