And how everyone awakened the visions on the statue just seals the deal for me. It’s just so beautiful. 🥺
@@李荣-n7s In the Story Teaser: The Solitary Pursuit of Lightning, the Musou no Hitotachi is defined as something that Raiden uses to bestow divine punishment. After the battle with Signora, it was the Musou no Hitotachi that Raiden used to kill her as “divine punishment” for losing the duel. In the aforementioned teaser, it is also the Musou no Hitotachi that killed Kazuha’s friend. I say Kazuha made his ambition come true, because this friend said “There must be someone who can withstand it” and while the friend failed to do so, Kazuha did. As for the splitting of the island, i think Raiden is skilled enough to control the intensity of it, especially since she’s bestowing the divine punishment on little humans and not something as massive as Orabashi as she did in the past.

Kinda glad that he "died" during the fight with Ei so the viewers were able to see what those 4 glowing orbs were for. During my story - fight with Ei, I managed to beat her with all 4 orbs. Well, I did have both Qiqi and Barbara in my Team. With those two, Ei simply couldn't kill any of my teammates, any serious damage was healed soon. Took me quite some time to finish her (didn't have a good dps character with me) but at least it was a safe way to beat her.
To be fair I'd be annoyed as well if I was watching someone just assume the boss has a shield because she's in a circle rather than simply trying to hit her and wasting 1 minute in the process. No idea how can people enjoy watching this dude streaming tbh
And then you think that people complained about the Inazuma storyline. I honestly liked it alot, sure it's no Sumeru story but I still thought it was great. I much preferred it to Liyue and loads more than Mondstadt
That vision wasm't passed on cuz its ambition was fulfilled, the previous owners ambition was to parry the Raiden Shogin's Mussono Itotachi and Kazuha did that while carrying the vision.
You'd think that as a lore enthusiast he would go through the game in chronological order, but he seems to have ignored Dragonspine Also the character chapters should be played in release order since the character moments and lore beats they deliver go with what people know at the time Wish he had some sort of list made so that he could enjoy the journey, he looks like he's rushing for some reason
I think that's the interesting thing about necrits playthrough and a realization of how well hoyoverse produced the story of genshin. Even tho necrit is playing out of order because he doesn't want to follow a guide, it isn't breaking the timeline of the game and ruining the immersion. He's piecing things together out of the canonical order. It doesn't really matter that everything is out of order, because the story can be tackled in anyway
Most of dragonspine isnt permanent content and also who cares about dragonspine. He will have more than enough time to complete it before hoyo ever decides anything from it is relevant.
When the childe boss was first released, the story mode boss was too tough for some players to clear so they were stuck in the story unable to progress. They had to nerf him in the story mode and ever since, the boss you fight in the story is easy or you have revives and mechanisms to make it so you can't lose.

Actually, Ei/Raiden is correct. All those who have visions will stand to chase their aspirations only to lose their lives, either through death or degradation. People try to say that Tomo (Kazuha's friend) was victim of this struggle, but to be honest, he got out of the Archon game with a smile on his face, even in death. It is not a fully developed point of the rules of Teyvat and has not been shown yet to be proven, but Venti explained that when a person is given a Vision, they become an Allogene, a human who has unlocked the potential to become a god. What has happened to ALL other gods outside the Seven? They have all died or lost their lives as they know it. In becoming a god, they would have to challenge one of the Seven for the seat of power, and in so doing, would most likely die. The Heavenly Principles would strike them down for not playing the game of the Archon War because the Heavenly Principles MUST have someone be an archon for the Seven's nations of Teyvat. Assumedly, this is why Khaenri'ah perished, because it was trying to ascertain the power of the Gods without divine purchase, without the ambitions set upon them by the Gods. They had no god, and tried to form a land without, ruining the balance in the lands. They meddled in powers not meant for human comprehension, the sin of their arrogation is what got them wiped off the face of the map.
Not really, raiden is just using circular reasoning, those who have visions are persecuted by the decree, the ones who oppose the decree live in danger and risk their lifes, and raiden use this artifitial danger (created by her) as justification to keep/justify the decree as if it were a safety measure. While is true the ones who have visions tend to live adventurous lives, that is because they already lived like that and then get recognized by their ideals (aranara quest). And not all adventurers get recognized anyway (chasm quest). And most gods, even archons, have already died, not even the archons are safe from the heavenly principles. The allogenes seem to be just spare pawns in case one of the archon need to be replaced.
@@MaxJey2 It's still fucked up that visions COULD take away someone's ambitions to the point that it could felt like death. Imagine if the one handing out visions, which is most likely celestia btw, decided to take it back, what would happen to many of playable characters who supposedly a candidate to godhood 💀 What if celestia do it if teyvat decided to rebel against them bruh
@@ashreille9917 I agree, celestia's system is pretty fucked up. But that still wouldnt help raiden's argument, because the decree is still causing the harm she supposedly is helping avoid.
@@MaxJey2 Expect you're forgetting why the Decree was passed and how it relates to Eternity. Eternity was to stop progress in Inazuma so that humans don't get to the point of Angering the Heavenly principles like other nations in the past. Ei was looking to protect all of Inazuma from being destroyed that is the danger that's she hoping to avoid so she made the puppet to up hold that idea forever. She can't control the Heavenly principles but she can control her Nation so stopping her nations progress as to stop that same thing from happening in Inazuma is a small price to pay. We've seen what ambition can do to a nation it's the reason her sister's dead. And let me remind everyone that taking a vision doesn't kill them it does hurt the person by proxy of losing the reason they got it in the first place. Great Ambition leads to great progress but it can also lead to great loss. This is the reason the Decree was passed it serves the idea of Eternity and Eternity is there to protect the whole of Inazuma. It's so flawed though it's laughable humans in this world will never stop progressing they will always strive to be better than before. Trying to stop that is foolish but proper guidance will keep them on the right path as to not over step. Her Divine Gaze as Yae Miko put it. I mean look at all the story quests after the Archon Quest what are they about? Flawed Ambitions ones that would lead to problems in the nation instead of helping everyone they wanted to help those that were in power. Even the Sumeru Archon quest brings this out the Sages wanted to create a God that was Powerful and Wise and locked up the real Archon because they saw her as unfit for the role. Their Ambition to keep knowledge and wisdom for themselves lead them to almost killing the whole nation due to the experiment. Great Ambition can do great things but they can also do great harm.
btw, The 'names' is from the "real world" lore. Kinda. ...Related to King Solomon, that loved to hang out with the boys, by "Boys" I mean "Demonology Stuff". So he decided to keep a diary, also make some fanfics, somewhere he put some knowledge too. Five books, Ars Goetia, Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Notoria. Cant remeber the last one. 'Magia Naturalis' (Natural Magic) and there some stuff about evocating of divine magic and divine beeings... This Godlike beeings thinks that this 'Henosis' super cool stuff, is dope as f. Something about the cosmos, conscience, enhance this conscience to a higher level similar of the 'divine' regarding the cosmos, then merge this conscience with the whole. Maybe, its something like this. I dont know that much about it, ok? I just know this stuff as "Philosophy" from budism Vajrayana. That are waaay more chill. The "Cosmos, divine conscious, merge with stuff" I learned like this: Quoting: 'Just dont be stupid. May u get wiser someday. And chill, when u chilling ure busy, busy chilling u cant be stupid. Thats enought.' PS: Henosis... Goetia... G...Nosis? Gnosis?

Kazuha parrying the Musou no Hitotachi is peak Genshin for me. Even though it was in the "worst" story, I appreciate Inazuma's highlights the most. I also appreciate how, nearly immediately following this in Archon quest terms, Beisht hands us our ass. I think it was a good way for the Devs to remind the players that we ain't shit yet. Some may have forgotten that we got help during Raiden's quest and story-wise, we aren't at her level for real yet.

Genshin did not invent these names: Baal and Beelzebub/bul are ancient gods that appear in the Bible. They are also feature in the Shin Megami Tensei games. Usually considered to be demons. Genshin is very clever at repurposing ancient lore.
There is still Sumeru which is larger and longer than Inazuma by a considerable degree. Plus Inazuma still has to large side areas (with quests) not connected to the main quest. There is also the Chasm and plenty of character quests. You still have tons of content.

@Robin Sailo And also because she'd obliterate us at full power. Sooo...we defeated her at her weakest considering the handicap she gave herself but...also the plot armor we got from Yae. But...if they were on even ground with no outside help and Raiden not holding back...now that would be an interesting curbstomp. And also it was a battle of wills in the center of the mind, not even physical considering Raiden's reluctant will was waning. Our will and that of the 99 Visions overpowered hers.
@@Boricosa But even considering how powerful she was without the Gnosis thats really saying something. If she wasn't honor-bound and bloodlust was on she'd atomize anything in her path. In your recent stream you were asking why people considered weapon banners a scam, this was true in the past before they added the guarantee system for the weapons, so theoretically you could spend an infinite amount of money and never get the weapon you wanted if you were really unlucky. Necrit: "Its gonna be this way!"
Aaaaand repeat!
Yeah i noticed this shit too
He's so annoying
Is Necrit binging Archon Quests? It would be cool if he stayed in Inazuma a while and experience Ei's 2nd quest, especially if he enjoyed this fight.
Again I like the playthrough and the reactions but how does he reach the signora fight and say " suspicious, she's also using 2 elements" ....
How does he reach this far without knowing what a delusion is ?
Don't want to be a downer beacause I really am enjoying the content! Just wish he paid a little more attention to the story.
He never pays attention, he's too infatuated with his own dumb predictions
@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp kinda ironic, cause he is known to "guess" or "crafting" theory in a game.
But when the game provides you with all the literal lore, he predicted too far.
It's like he always wary for getting his food poisoned, but when he getting a real food he is dumped it to the trash.
Is childe foul legacy related to a delusion too?
@@vinayKumar-jy1tn Childe's foul legacy is a result of his abyss training.
Because he's kind of dumb tbh. Even his League Lore, people consider him the "League lore guy" and I mean, he speculates yeah but it's a lot of wild guesses and headcanon and very often wrong. Unless of course it's spelled out for him. But it's all post-analysis. Reacting in the moment he lets his mouth speak before his brain. I really am not trying or wanting to lambast the guy, but it's how it is. If he just shut the fuck up more and observed he'd be a lot better at this.

I still cry every time I see the scene when Kazuha parries the Musou no Hitotachi. Kazuha awakening his friend’s vision is such a beautiful moment. 😭 The friend has always wanted to parry the Musou no Hitotachi and Kazuha made that ambition come true. And how everyone awakened the visions on the statue just seals the deal for me. It’s just so beautiful. 🥺
it is not musou no hitotachi....if it is ...the island will be cut into 2....which didn't happen...
@@李荣-n7s it can cut a island in 2, but not always. Signora was killed by musou no hitotachi.
@@pepemarquesbr no way only 2 visions's power can equal musou no hitotachi

Fireworks huh

For supposedly a lore dude, he doesn't pay much attention to dialogue and plot doesn't he? Either he's looking at chat or he's off on his own drivel and ignoring everything
Exactly what i think
He researches properly before doing a video. He's just enjoying playing the game right now.
Just because he's a lore nerd doesn't mean he has to keep his eyes peeled. Plus he's aware of the archives anyway so just chill and let him do his thing

Of course, the proper way to do this is to just focus on the scene but I don't think he considers his first reaction or playthrough part of that process.
Personally I don't mind as long as the videos he makes is good and he finds out the details later on. I don't like to do shit when I'm being forced to by others so I'm biased on that end.

What's the point of streaming story only then, without exploration or leveling up the chars or doing dungeons or the abyss.
It's not like we ask him to read all the artifact and weapon description on stream, it's that we want the bare minimum - minimal respect to the game that you're allegedly enjoying and at least not talking nonsense over important and emotional cutscenes.
i didn't knew those were revives until i watched this video, i thought those are glowing orbs representing buffs LMAO
Sumeru is gonna melt this man's mind.
I am not sure if Necrit remembers who baladeer was. When yae revealed the third puppet is baladeer he didnt connect that it was scaramoche. Thats probably because the game highlighted the name scaramoche more in his introduction and necrit probably just didnt notice.
This is something I did not understand. He was introduced as Scaramouche in the first event with Mona and Fischl and in the Inazuma questline. But when Sumeru came, they started calling him 'The Balladeer'. I don't know why they decided to switch the emphasis.
@@isashaniofthexacatecas1997 probably because scaramouche is his code undercover name. like how tartaglia uses childe when hes trying to hide the fact he is a harbinger. scara was undercover during that event until we figured out. from that point on they use his official title that he is well known for.

Necrit, I cannot explain enough how fun and refreshing it is to see your Genshin play through. As an OG player, and someone who DEEPLY cares about the lore, I am so happy!!! Your genuine excitement for this game is so rewarding to see. Your analysis / guesses/ and sincere shock when things don't always go as you've predicted is so lovely. I am a new fan of yours as I have never played any Riot games/ League, so I just wanted to say thank you for being here
Hi, do you know if Necrit uploaded his reaction to the Sumeru Archon quest? I know he did them, but twitch deleted the vods. I find it strange that there is no trace of him playing the most well popular quest.
Kinda glad that he "died" during the fight with Ei so the viewers were able to see what those 4 glowing orbs were for.
During my story - fight with Ei, I managed to beat her with all 4 orbs.
Well, I did have both Qiqi and Barbara in my Team. With those two, Ei simply couldn't kill any of my teammates, any serious damage was
healed soon.
Took me quite some time to finish her (didn't have a good dps character with me) but at least it was a safe way to beat her.
You have constant healing, double or triple damage, insane Burst regen, basically bursts regen on cooldown. It's very hard to die or not to win
For being a story guy and haaving Diluc I'm quite disappointed he doesn't know who the crimson witch is.
The chat being so annoyed that they can't backseat every fight, love it
To be fair I'd be annoyed as well if I was watching someone just assume the boss has a shield because she's in a circle rather than simply trying to hit her and wasting 1 minute in the process.
No idea how can people enjoy watching this dude streaming tbh
And then you think that people complained about the Inazuma storyline. I honestly liked it alot, sure it's no Sumeru story but I still thought it was great. I much preferred it to Liyue and loads more than Mondstadt
he should lesson to chat this time and he need focus in story he keep miss alot of dialog
That vision wasm't passed on cuz its ambition was fulfilled, the previous owners ambition was to parry the Raiden Shogin's Mussono Itotachi and Kazuha did that while carrying the vision.
Kazuha’s friend’s vision enabled Kazuha to “brave the lightning’s glow” to save the Traveler. That was its purpose.
Your mind's gonna be blown away in Sumeru, Necrit. Just you wait xD
Necrit : "When things go dark, HOLY crap they go dark"
All of us knowing what's still in store : OH BOI
What happened to meeting the Shogun for the first time? These highlights kinda skipped part two and went straight to the end of part 3.
You'd think that as a lore enthusiast he would go through the game in chronological order, but he seems to have ignored Dragonspine
Also the character chapters should be played in release order since the character moments and lore beats they deliver go with what people know at the time
Wish he had some sort of list made so that he could enjoy the journey, he looks like he's rushing for some reason
dragon spine doesn't affect the story. it's a world quest
He already did dragonspine
I think that's the interesting thing about necrits playthrough and a realization of how well hoyoverse produced the story of genshin. Even tho necrit is playing out of order because he doesn't want to follow a guide, it isn't breaking the timeline of the game and ruining the immersion. He's piecing things together out of the canonical order. It doesn't really matter that everything is out of order, because the story can be tackled in anyway
its also because twitch chat is a mess and everyone have a different opinions on how he should play the game and what content should he skip.
Most of dragonspine isnt permanent content and also who cares about dragonspine. He will have more than enough time to complete it before hoyo ever decides anything from it is relevant.
38:25 It's funny how his attacks matched with the bgm
22:09 reading is hard for a *LORE MASTER*
If he wasnt SO ridiculously overleveled for campaign his view would be oh so different xP
So adamant but should have trusted his chat. The winter cut scene would have fit better for a video end :P
this part is still the coolest of Genshin so far, the presentation cutscenes just too EPIC
When the childe boss was first released, the story mode boss was too tough for some players to clear so they were stuck in the story unable to progress. They had to nerf him in the story mode and ever since, the boss you fight in the story is easy or you have revives and mechanisms to make it so you can't lose.
Not really
Childe was bugged and those someone with level of 42 could fight a 92 level chidle
Glad to see him enjoying the story ❤❤
Try out the 2 story quests with Ei, the Third "Raiden Shogun" fight is even better than this one.
Regarding the censoring of Jean, Amber, Rosaria and Mona. They were the only characters ever censored in the game and was done likely just to appease the Chinese government considering they haven’t changed anyone else since. This is mostly just my opinion but it lines up with my experience working on a Chinese port of a game.
Honestly, it doesn't feel like a censorship at all, just a regular redesign
@@Boricosa That’s probably because Hoyo actually took the time to redesign their outfits instead of just adding bits and pieces, censoring for the sake of it.

Agreed! Raiden is such a tragic character and I don't blame her for her actions.
"Knowledge is used as a resource"
Necrit's knowledge of Runeterra lore would probably make him a millionaire
btw, The 'names' is from the "real world" lore. Kinda.
...Related to King Solomon, that loved to hang out with the boys, by "Boys" I mean "Demonology Stuff".
So he decided to keep a diary, also make some fanfics, somewhere he put some knowledge too.
Five books, Ars Goetia, Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Notoria. Cant remeber the last one.
Tho, yeah, sorry. Names! True, the names... 'Goétia' Theres a pokedex with 72 "Boys" names and stuff.
The names inspired genshin... Morax, Paimon, Barbatus, Baal... All from the 'Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis' - First book: Ars Goetia.
There u can find the Season 2 of 'Pseudomonarchia Daemonum' that is 'Boys Pokedex Season 1" (only 67? or something).
Yeah, Genshin is a fanfic from this stuff. The elemental powers is kinda like "Theurgia"; Goetia beeing the Bad evocation, dark powers n stuff; Theurgia beeing the (brain damage here, trying to translate... Ok.) 'Magia Naturalis' (Natural Magic) and there some stuff about evocating of divine magic and divine beeings...
The "Cosmos, divine conscious, merge with stuff" I learned like this:
Quoting:
'Just dont be stupid.
May u get wiser someday.
And chill,
when u chilling ure busy,
busy chilling u cant be stupid.
Thats enought.'

Necrit I recommend swapping out Traveller for a healer unit.
Man i try to sit throught the streams but him headbutting with the narration and how the story should progress is really annoying and immersion breaking. 🙄 Like you would catch sooo much lore bits in between the lines if you read instead of protesting every dialogue. Genshin lore lies in between books , dialogues, it isn’t league of legends where its written beforehand

I still get chills from this quest damnn

Genshin did not invent these names: Baal and Beelzebub/bul are ancient gods that appear in the Bible. They are also feature in the Shin Megami Tensei games. Usually considered to be demons. Genshin is very clever at repurposing ancient lore.
There is still Sumeru which is larger and longer than Inazuma by a considerable degree. Plus Inazuma still has to large side areas (with quests) not connected to the main quest. There is also the Chasm and plenty of character quests. You still have tons of content.
Uhh.. so the thing is we still have 3 or 4 nations goming..... after sumeru
Necrit: What if I don't do anything? You say anything more, Paimon?

If Aether was actually the one speaking and not Paimon, fine. Is a critical moment that shows him distressed adding to the atmosphere the game gives at this point. The gnome just kills it for me.

Raiden Shogun kept her words to let the Traveler get out of the castle alive, but she didn’t say she wouldn't kill him afterward 😂
You're not nearing the ending. There are seven nations. When they announced their roadmap they mentioned it was a 10-year roadmap.
Raiden did held back during her fight with us. Cuz honor.
But NOT against Orobaxi and Signora.
Maybe also because she didn't have her gnosis on her
@Robin Sailo And also because she'd obliterate us at full power.

In your recent stream you were asking why people considered weapon banners a scam, this was true in the past before they added the guarantee system for the weapons, so theoretically you could spend an infinite amount of money and never get the weapon you wanted if you were really unlucky. After they added the pity system, where on the 3rd 5* pull you would get the guaranteed weapon, it's less of a scam but you could still spend a maximum 240 pulls for the weapon you want, compared to the 180 for characters.
