    Nobuntu Hlazo Webster is a force. She is the woman she thinks she is. I saw her in her element on the 702 imbizo in Soweto even for that brief moment and for that, my vote provincially swayed to Bosa. She has her heart on her sleeve concerning fixing South Africa and I am for it. She’s the kind of leader most of us have been praying for. Let’s see.🤞🏾

    At some point, we will have to be honest and admit how visionary Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi was. The work that he did through Ithala directly benefitted black people. Ithala created Industrial Hubs all over and in black areas. The industrial area in Umlazi kwa V, Kwa Sithebe in Mandeni and the Ithala Industrial Park in Newcastle and so on. Go to any small town in KZN and they all have Ithala Centres, from Ulundi, Nkandla, Umlazi and all the way to the South of the province in Harding.
    Unfortunately, the current government thinks of Spaza shops only when they talk about the Township Economy. I really love the idea of declaring townships as SEZs.

    I relate to her experience on private school in our age. I grew up in Soshanguve Pretoria , grew up in a four roomed house. Later on we extended it. My brothers and I went to private schools. I went to St Mary’s DSG and my brothers CBC. And she’s right there was not a lot of us at all. And I didn’t play in the streets partly because we were not allowed and also because the other kids were nasty to us, I think partly due to feeling inferior and maybe jealous and others wanted to be close to us - very few, the aspirant ones who would ask I teach them English.
    And we also grew up discussing politics and economics at home.

      @@Penuelism They truly were. And were so instrumental in forming who I am especially in my formative years. It was another world though! Being transported from dusty Soshanguve to driving through affluent areas. I remember one of the white girls inviting me to their home in Waterkloof Heights, complete with tennis court and swimming pool and it felt like the most luxurious thing, a hotel really. Couldn’t believe people lived like this. But what it also did was make me keenly aware of injustice.
      I could go on and on but don’t want to take up too much space

    Brilliant lady and sound policies but the policy on undocumented foreigners is not pragmatic. SA is in a crisis on this matter and if it means we have to carry our IDs around so be it. It wouldn't be apartheid but a means to solve a crisis in our country. Mass deportation is required including fixing borders and addressing our foreign policy regarding our neighbouring countries. We can then accept people with legitimate reasons to come into our country including asylum seekers etc. That's why my vote is with ActionsSA.

  • @patricknkosi5412
    @patricknkosi5412 5 месяцев назад +3

    Two points, first the issue about foreigners taking our jobs is not true, most SAns lacks the semi skills due to our education system, so most of these foreigners fill those gaps, like pipe fitting, mechanics, electrical etc so even if they leave few or non SAn could fill those gaps. Secondly I very much like these crop of new leaders, young educated unfortunately because they are in different political organizations , with the one vote per person one could only pick one party. But I would love to see all of them in the government leadership. I think half of our problems could be solved if not 2 third. I hope for the best leadership ever to come of this coming elections.

      I agree. I’ve always been preaching that.
      The same could be said about Musi Maimane. They’ll never deal decisively with White racists or publicly condemn their actions, for fear of upsetting their in laws.
      I could never understand the rationale of having intimate relations with the enemy whilst your people are still in bondage.

      The enemy? You break my Soug African heart. Do you know that South Africa is NOT a black nation? It is multi-racial. Do you u know that there are more black racists than white racists in this country? Whites are the minority. Do you u know that the communistic and socialist policies of current government is what is holding EVERYONE in the country back? Our education system is letting thyroid people down. History is an important subject that most students are not taking, and CAPS is hiding details. Animal Farm is not being taught as an English set work book. I am an African. I am not your enemy. I’ve traced my family tree far back. I have Cape Khoi blood in my veins (from a documented marriage). I have Indian. I have Cape Malay. Most white South Africans have a mix somewhere. We are diverse and beautifully so. 400 years in the making. Learn from the past and go forward. Perpetuating racism is the enemy. Communism is the enemy.
