I grew up in Fort Worth, TX when Carswell AFB existed and B-52's and KC-135's were stationed there. Saw squadron's take off on numerous occasions and was fortunate to attend air shows at Carswell. One year was special. The SR-71 and the XB-70 flew to Carswell for a 3 day air show. It was an amazing show.
