Yes this is one of their raw lyrics. Especially RM and Suga. RM suffered a lot at young age of 18 and haters hating bts. He always with Suga his elder one. RM use to translate the english hate comments into nice comments. He didn't want to let know the members and RM kept it to himself. He is a true leader and a great brother. Even he is not the elder one of the group.
The song Born Singer is a BTS song that tells the story of the twists and turns of their musical career from zero to being known internationally.
The lyrics for the song "Born Singer" were created solely by the rap-line BTS, in which the members' hearts are expressed about realizing their dream of debuting as musicians
JHope, in his rap part he mentioned the struggles of trainees for 3 years before debuting with BTS. RM also shuts the mouths of haters through "Born Singer"
the song is quite rarely performed at BTS concerts, like the main single which is always included in the medley setlist.
So far, "Born Singer" has been performed in two concerts, namely BTS Live Trilogy Episode I: BTS Begins 2015 and Wings Tour The Final in 2017.
"Born Singer" became the first song to enter the CD1 setlist of BTS's anthology album Proof.

While this version is beautiful and more polished I think I prefer the earlier live performances, which aren't many, when they've done Born Singer. For me it's because those performances carry A LOT more emotional passion that comes through more clearly with the rappers and the vocal line killed it with their incredible high notes. This song is them telling their story and it was released when they were still young, struggling idols who had no idea if they'd even "make it". RM and Suga had it especially tough coming from the underground scene and their verses cut straight to the heart once you've learned a bit more about them.

I think different emotions show through in the earlier performances versus this one. While I appreciate the youthful pain, struggle, and passion expressed a lot in the earlier performances (those high notes are chills-inducing), I think I prefer the musical arrangement for this one, along with the different emotions that come through, especially from the rappers, and especially from the RM.
It reminds me of Joni Mitchell's versions of Both Sides Now as it was originally recorded and the one she recorded as a much older woman. BTS of course haven't lived a lifetime, but for me at least, the emotional complexity that comes with life experience (a maturity? tiredness? beyond my ability to articulate clearly) is arresting. I hope they will do this song again in the future at yet another key point in their lives, and thus allow us a window into their soul and we can see again how they may have changed by then. 💜

Born Singer was actually adapted from J.Cole's Born Sinner. The lyrics were rewritten by RM, Suga and j-hope, but still has the same composition as the original version.
U must watch also the live performances for these songs u r reacting to.. u will appreciate them singing n dancing to these songs...their stage presence n choreography will blow u away.

*Let me briefly explain BTS rapline to y'all!*
*RM* is a poet. You can not change my mind.His lyricism reads, sounds and works like poetry: a few words have multiple meanings and derivate in multiple chains of thought. Every time you listen to them, you discover new details, new ideas, new insights. Even when he's being straightforward, there's still some some philosophy or revelation or a big question or an aesthetic behind them. A poem is full of passion, but every word is chosen carefully, with intention. They're puzzle pieces, every piece has a place to create the full picture. It's a form of ART. WORDS WITH INTENTION.
*Suga's* lyricism is like "an arrow straight to the heart": you immediately understand the emotion he's trying to convey, you don't need to even know what he's saying to know "what you're supposed to FEEL". What he says is always interesting too, and it has layers too, but, from the first listen.... You usually feel that same way after listening to his song 1000 times. Even when the song is sociopolitical or when it displays an idea, your first impression is a STAB OF EMOTION forever tattooed in your memory.
*J HOPE's* lyricism is like a playground, an amusement park. A place where magical things happen, where you are encouraged to bend the rules. It's full of bright primal colors, you walk around with bounce in your steps and inevitably feel the childlike impulse of starting to dance around, or start imitating his onomatopoeias and alibis. There's a quirky creativity in his choice of analogies and a pure-hearted kindness in his message. Even when he expresses anger or sadness, there's this sense of DYNAMIC RHYTHM that is always moving, always unpredictable and ALIVE.

Yeah, this song and For Youth always make me a little emotional. If you really want to be in your feelings then The Truth Untold, House of Cards and Butterfly will definitely do it.

Yes Our Sensational King's are deep with their lyrics. My first song that helped me with my darkest and saddest days in a toxic realm was Make It Right. To this day, after 4 years of being single, it makes me cry happy tears. As well as Magic Shop. BTS became My Strength, Comfort, and Happiness.

This a remake of Born Sinner, now titled Born Singer which fits better. They wrote these lyrics back in 2013 right after they debuted as a group (they had already been together from 1-3 years as trainees). J. Cole’s original had only been out a month before BTS (unofficially) released their remake on SoundCloud. I highly recommend watching an an earlier version of this from 2015 or 2017. (On your own time. No need to react.) If you listen to the lyrics in the context that they were struggling young artists who could have it all slip away in an instant the song has a whole different level of emotional intensity than the one sung by *extremely* successful worldwide artists 10 years into their career. They still have struggles, of course, but they’re no longer in a place where they have to worry that the bottom will drop out and they will have no career and no money.
When I say ‘young’, remember that at the time they wrote the lyrics Suga was 20, j-hope was 19, and RM was 18.
Each time they’ve performed the song RM has updated a couple of lines (updating his age and # of years passed) but otherwise the song is the same.

You kept saying born sinner and it is Born Singer. a remake to what they felt when they were just starting out. The remix stage version is a must see which shows the raw emotion they felt on stage when they first came out with Born Singer (again I reiterate not born sinner)

Hi, this is the first Ive seen you're reaction video and yes this song is amazing and seeing you get emotional about it and them. I think you should watch the Rise of Bangtan and then this song will be even more emotional for you. I think you'd understand and feel the pain and struggle they went through a lot more. There are a lot of reaction videos since Jhope's collab with Cole and a lot of it is just to get views and subscribers but you seem like you genuinely are interested in BTS. Do yourself a favour and check out Rise of Bangtan and then you'll realise the importance of every member and how without anyone of them there is no BTS!
