We live in the tropical forest. I used to be scared when we moved here from Chicago. Black garden snake is good to have around. They take care of the rats. Which we have too🤣it's harmless to humans. This time, though, she was totally showing off. May be she has the nest somewhere.
Always a pleasure joining you in your beautiful orchid garden. I just looove that gifted cattleya, the bloom is absolutely gorgeous. You have inspired me to do an orchid tree placed on a stand. I have a few orchid trees but they are planted into the ground and not on table tops like yours. Garden snake is good to have around. Keeps the rodents down/away. Mice can smell snakes and cats also. It won't hurt ya, unless u make it lol

So Many blooms... Jealous. I lost 70+ orchids due to a long hospitalization :( so, I'm down to a total of 12 now.
ps. that Beautiful Yellow / red tips Cattleya made me think of a delicious Tropical mixed-drink called a "Yellow Bird".
