Just finished watching, what a great adventure. I loved the seeing all the different habitat, terrain, elevation and variation. What an effort for the Spruce and Dusky. I love that it’s so “real” showing the triumphs, and the misses / falls. Well done and thanks for making this!

I grew up in Idaho. Never realized how awesome all the hunting and fishing is till I got older. It was just normal living for us as kids growing up in the mountains. school basically shut down for elk season. we hunted grouse with wrist rockets in the fall. It was a great place to grow up.

So sad we let the entire prairie nationwide get grazed down to the point of killing all the wildlife. Sage grouse suffer the most from overgrazing nationwide.

I am sitting here lamenting old age as I watch this. Most of my hard miles are in the Oregon side of the Owyhee’s. But covered lots of Idaho as well. Knees and feet wore out from in my 30’s doing 10 mile days to get a limit of chukars. But still going. Actually meeting my old bird hunting buddy this year after a 30 yrs absence of bird hunting with him. He is 75 and I am 65 but LOL I got a pup and have trained her and she is a 2 yr old GSP that is ready to go!
