- Just a short film using some of the footage we shot during this SIV season. Introducing 2-stage stalls, wingover tuck control and reserve deployment tips. We will be making more short films addressing paraglider control over winter so please stay tuned.
Always love to listen to your voice Jocky. Makes paragliding seem like a perfectly sane thing to do. 😊👍
Yup, may have to get to Old next year and do another SIV. Pretty sure Jocky's calm voice on the radio helps!
anyone thinking about taking that next step and doing an SIV I highly recommend jocky. I did his SIV in turkey this year and now im a way better pilot. !! a lot more confident and safer. his calming voice when you are in the air is so valuable. I trust him and hope you get the chance to as well. you should learn from this master while you can.
Enjoyed the video thanks for sharing
This is so helpful for every paragliding pilots. Thank you so much.
Thanks Jocky, its always good to hear from you. I've got to schedule an SIV w/you someday soon.
Thanks Jocky! Allways a pleasure to listen to your advice!
The masters voice 👌🏻 🇬🇧
Brilliant. Thank you.
Thanks
great update Jockey... nice one dude : ) ... Ive been on several Jockey SIV's... he's without a doubt one the worlds best siv instructors... (am not just saying that)...
Oh my God. It looks as tricky as a barrel full of devil juice. Then you're saying it's not as easy as it looks. I saw a guy with another Wing who had his risers mounted too far apart. His stuff was flopping around so hard he didn't have a chance of flying anything backwards.
🙏🙏🙏❤💯
Nice vid! Thought I would have named the title "SIV techniques", as it greatly demonstrated those
dammit I have the same life jacket but my stalls aren't that smooth. I should try in butterfly valley.
When are you coming back to Australia would love to do an SIV with you.
I'm not sure I'm ready for an SIV course I've got about 15 flights on my PPG. What is the other option? A pilatodge did you say? (I'm sure I murdered the spelling)... what is this?
half expected my footage to come up as an example how not to react when the outside collapses in wingover :D good times
Pulling the D's...D equals to brakes?
