The writers of Shadowhunters had this incredible opportunity to make a musical episode because of the cast’s talents. And they missed it. And before you say, “uhh…what?” I’m talking about a Once More with Feeling type episode like they did on Buffy. It would have been campy and fun. Not everything has to be all dark and stuff. The alternate universe episode is a good example of how successful it can be to break up the plot with a small side story for fun.
